Question about HP Compaq dx2300 Microtower - RT950UTABA PC Desktop
I turned off my hp desktop computer yesterday morning and tried to turn it on later in the afternoon and it wouldn't reboot. The tower just kept make long beeping noises. What should I do?

Could be a tough one for someone who isn't in front of your computer.
You could try to get into safe mode. Turn it on and then keep hitting the F8 key until a screen comes on giving you some options. Also you could try inserting the CD that came with it, not to re install, but to just wake it up, then remove it.
Advice would be to buy a back up external hard drive and only use it to back up weekly, this way you have a copy of registry etc.
Hope it works.
One more thing you could try is to see if your memory chips are loose inside the case, sometimes dirt keeps them from making contact with the board's contacts, causes the same thing.
