Letter does not work on keyboard

You can try using compressed air can to clean the keyboard, maybe that will fix it. But if it's caused by wear and tear or you have spilled some liquid on the keyboard, you need to buy a replacement.
A keyboard for your laptop is around 17$ with free shipping:

The keyboard on my Toshiba laptop suddenly lost the letters T & E function. All the other keys are working. I bought the laptop from Radio Shack 9 months ago. Is there some way to solve the problem?

Nah - not much you can do. The keyboard's gone bad. Most new Toshiba laptops have a year's warranty, so you should call them and have them replace it for free.

Keyboard hace stopped working

You can remove the keyboard from the laptop and on the bottom of the keyboard you'll find part numbers.

search eBay with those part numbers and you should be able to find a replacement for very cheap ;)

I need to replace a couple of letter keys on my laptop. Where can I purchase them. How much and how easy is the work to replace these keys.?

if your problem is (the keys writing are worn out) then you can neatly write on it, but if the keys (some ) are not working, then your keyboard will not work, even tyou replace the keys...the plastic tracks can be damaged, and only it can be replace by changing the whole keyboard...check out on www.toshiba.com ..if hard to get 1, plug a usb external keyboard

Spilled a little rum on the corner right side of the laptop and now had to get an external keyboard because the laptop keyboard types multple letters and numbers when keys are pressed.

If that is the case you can purchase a new keyboard off ebay for $20, remove the screws holding it (will either be underneath laptop or right above keyboard) and replace.
