Hi, how are the Apple TV and MacBook Pro connected to the network, could be a flakey WiFi connection and/or lots of traffic on your local network... are you able to connect both via ethernet cable and retest, how many other users connected to your network? Cheers, John

My dynex lcd tv keeps saying no signal when cable is plugged in?

It sounds like the CATV portion of the TV tuner is bad--Cable band.

You may have an option---with a cable box that has the audio/video jacks for output of signal on its rear side connect to a unused video input on rear of set--go to that input and change channel via the box---BY PASS THE TUNER IN THE SET THIS WAY.

I have connected the cable from the printer to the lap top correctly but it still comes back saying the the laptop cannot recognise the printer. The connection was bought from Currays and I was assured it...

Hi graham_mcleo
The printer came with a install disc ( cdrom ) .
Disconnect the printer , launch the cdrom , follow instructions and wait for the driver/software to be correctly installed . Connect the printer with usb and power cables , swich printer on . Windows should recognize a new hardware and a message should pop on your screen telling installation was successfull or hardware is ready to use , depending on what system you are using .

Monitor shows on no picture

Hi,

The first thing that we will have to check is if it is a hardware problem or not so to check this we need to do a self test on the monitor.Disconenct all the external devices even the cable for the internet so the cables that should be connected would be the cable for the monitor, power, keyboard and the mouse.Disconenct the cable for the monitor that is the VGA cable that has a blue connector whic has screw's on it .Once that is disconnected turn the computer on ,you should be getting a message on the monitor that has a message no input signal or check video cable .There has to be some kind of message that tells you that the cable is disconencted .If it has a message then it means the monitor is good or else if no message then it tells us that the monitor has gone bad and it needs to be replaced.

If the monitor has the message then turn the computer off and then when u turn it on tapp the F10 key for XP and F11 for vista ,tapp the key until you get a black screen that says advance boot menu options then select the option that says enable vga mode and then hit the enter key .When you get the log on screen select administrator and then it will take you to the desktop .Please tell me what happens so that i can help u further .The trobleshooting steps vary depending what is the response by the computer so i am waiting for your reply...

all the best

I have a new lgkc910 phone. I've installed pc suite on my pc and followed all the instructions. It says it's connected but whenever I try to actually do something it give this message: Fail to connect to...

You didn't say whether you are trying to connect remotely or with a cable. I would suggest getting a cable from ebay. should only cost you a few dollars. As soon as you plug in your phone to the cable which is connected to your PC it should give you the message "connected to lgkc910" or something similar. If you have 2 USB slots try the other one. you may have a probelm with that slot.

NO SIGNAL INPUT - message

Hi Rick,
Most common cause of this error is when the video signal cables are knocked off rendering the connection from the monitor to the CPU loose. Turn off the PC and secure all connections. Have you had your computer moved or repaired where you need to remove connections? Some PCs have more than one video cards (video output) and you may have connected it in the wrong video port. You can isolate the problem further by connecting your CPU to a known working monitor (office, freind's, neighbor, 2nd home PC). The other way is to isolate the problem is to connect your problematic monitor to a known working PC and see if video will be displayed. If video is present, your CPU's video card has gone bad or the contacts are not seated properly in the slot. Best Regards

what kind of cable are you connecting with? If you are using a Composite or S-Video cable perhaps you may want to use the VGA cable instead and see if that corrects the issue.
