Question about GE GSH25JSRSS Stainless Steel Side by Side Refrigerator
You advised others that it could be a bad compressor, but one was advised that there could be a reset button on the compressor. will my warranty be voided if I open the enclosure and push the reset button myself? I am a fairly qualified button pusher and an electrician. What do you think?
Its not as easy as pushing a button, theres actually an overload/relay attached to the side of compresssor. you can replace the part. it might be it, however sometimes a bad compressor will blow the relay, instead of the relay saving the compressor. probably 50-75 bucks for part.
