SOURCE: John Deere 2010 utility tractor, lights come on

1) Battery condition and clean cable connections
2) Check the voltage & connections at the solenoid
*Is full battery voltage found at the solenoid?
3) Does the small wire that activates the solenoid from the ignition switch/safety switches have voltage when the key is in the start position

a) voltage yes, but it does not start; suspect solenoid
b) voltage no, inspect and check all safety switches for voltage to and from each switch
c) safety switches do NOT have voltage to them: inspect connections on ignition switch and check for voltage coming into the switch from the battery.

Can't get my working lights to come on

If you have power to the fuse box, measure with a multimeter to see how much you have from the battery, then to the fuse box... Then see how much leaving the fuse box, if there isn't any power leaving the fuse box,,, you have a faulty fuse box or a possible bad connection (ground) if you have power check the relays, often you relays go bad, you'll hear them flicker but the don't actual make the connection to give voltage to the lights... Also you can test the voltage at the light bulb socket with the power on and switch on with a multimeter..

I have a 4500 John Deer tractor that typically won't start in cold temperatures (i.e. 39 or below) otherwise it starts promptly. I've pushed the key in to heat the glow plug a minute or more.

The 4500 John Deere tractor sounds like the glow plugs are not working. Checked voltage at the glow plugs to make sure that there is 12 DC volts.(Might have to remove main wire from the glow plugs to check!) If no voltage at glow plugs there maybe a bad fuse, relay or wire connection in the glow plug circuit. If there is 12 DC volts at the glow plugs, it is possible that the glow plugs need to be replaced.

I have a John Deere LT115. When I turn the key, the lights come on, but not as much as a clicking sound.

Sounds like one of your safety switches might be engaged. Check to make sure that the PTO is off, the parking brake is set and you are in the seat. After that report further if still having issues. May also have a blown fuse or a broken/loose wire.

Head lights stop working from the light switch my turn sig. button still work.

check your connection, bulbs, wires and fuses. its pretty easy just look to see if the philement in your bulbs are broken if so just get bulbs and put them in. and look at your fuse if the metal is borken get a new fuse to put in. you can also follow your wire and if there is any dry rotting of slice but a new wire and run it from your battery to your bulbs. hope this helps you

Front and rear wiper and radio dont work on 5500n john deere

You need to check the ground that goes to the tractor window frame and there by grounds the cab portion of the tractor. They usually just need the have new ends put on the wires and the mounting surfaces sanded clean to get a good ground. You may need to run your own ground as well to get things to work.I doubt it is a combination of blown fuses but that too is possible.
