Norstar M7310 auto attendant problem

Our auto attendant gives 4 options. Each option directs caller to a specific extension. I know how to change the recording but how do I change the extension the caller is directed to.

As far as changing the # of rings, that may be your phone company. Feature 983 will get you in to change to number of rings. It goes as follows:
Feature 983
System coordinator mailbox # and password
OK
AA
Lines
Enter Line Number
OK
Table
Rings
CHNG
Enter the desired number of rings
If after changing the number of rings the Auto atendant does not pick up at all, You have to call your phone company and set up the second delay through them. We had the same problem here.

How do I turn off the auto attendant on my Norstar M7310?

It depends. Go into feature 983, default pwd of 1020000 for 3-digit extensions. Go into AA, Table, Table 1, and change the option for the AA to N. If you're using a CCR tree, you'll have to go into Table 1 and disable the tree under Morn CCR and all the CCRs that follow.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!! DESPERATE!!!! M7310 NORSTAR - No one helped me with auto attendant but I figured it out. 1st greeting is you have reached... press one for touchtone... greeting is correct and says...

The problem you describe is not the fault of the phone, but a function of the Voice Mail system the phone is connected to. The solution previously posted is partially correct but each destination in the greeting table (the table entry associated with the number the auto-attendant recording tells the caller to press to reach a specific destination or feature) is assigned a function such as "info" or "forward" or a branch to another list of selections. If the selection does nothing then its configuration is incorrect, and it needs to be assigned to what ever function you want it to perform such as ring a specific extension, divert off to another branch of prompts, ring the attendant, etc. My suggestion is to get the model number and software revision on the Applications Module ("NAM") and post your question with as much detail as possible to the Nortel forum on the Tech Talk board at Sundance Communications (http://sundance-communications.com/forum/). Lots of well-seasoned professionals hang out there and I've always received very good support from posting there - they are equally respectful of old-timers and noobs and I've found them to be very professional and helpful with everything from simple mailbox glitches to a set-relocation function gone crazy. I'd give it a try.

When the Norstar m7324 phone is set to night mode after business hours, the caller goes direct to voicemail when the caller dials an extension. How do I change it so that it rings at the extension a f

Night service will only control if AA to answer (main greeting) or human, you!.
If people enter extension and it goes straight to vmail then the user invoked that option (Feature 987) which is what you should do when you leave your office.

CP100 Auto Attendant transfers direct to voicemail

The norstar extension may be setup up for Call Fwd to voicemail, or call fwd/busy. Also, Custom Call Routing may be setup to send the caller directly to the mailbox.

Call Pilot voicemail Nortel

Depending what number your extensions start with, you need to go to the programming for the auto attendant and "undefine" the number in the menu. More than likely, it is built as a "thru-dial" and allows callers to punch in the extension. If you remove this, callers will have no other choice but to use the options in the menu. I can walk you through these changes if you want.
