machine needs to be level.so it cant rock side to side or front to back adj feet .when u load machine put half in and rotate drum half turn and put the rest of load in.that should balance load.dont overload.try running empty if it still showing ua
all washing machines suffer from same things.overloading throws balance off stuff in pockets finds its way to the pump too much powder is used causing blockages and soft water areas cause elements to fir up with limescale.eventally motor brushes wear.but theyre cheap to replace
1) normally the noises coming in spin cycles. You need to re-balance the clothes load. 2) Re-balance the clothes and repeat the step if necessary and try again. 3) of course try to Level the machine, with the instruc.manual procedure.
Yes, look into trading in the Kenmore for one of only two manufacturers that employ a dynamic balance system built into the washer drum. Samsung and LG both use this dynamic balance system that balances the load while it is in motion. They also use a vibration sensing system to modify the time and speed of the spin cycles to minimize any vibration that might still be present. LG has this available on only their upper level models while Samsung's VRT is available on most all models. I believe that both of these manufacturer's are available from Sears.
Thanks for using FixYa. The error code UE means there are some heavy clothing is loaded. Rearrange items to help balance the load. If the imbalance is heavy, the washer will make several attempts to restart the spin cycle. If an imbalance is still detected, the washer will stop and will display the error code UE. In case, if the load is small then you need to add 2-5 clothes to balance the load. If the load is out of balance then you need to rearrange the clothes to balance it. Although the Washer has an imbalance detection and correction system but if still the problem persists then it means that it is due to control error and needs to replaced preferably by a qualified service technician.

Barry The repairman was right. The drum is out of balance because of the load amount .Thed clothes or items need to be distributed around the drom rather than just throwing in. When it comes to spin the imbalance causes the machine to shake and move across the laudry.
As it sometimes works This is probably when you are not doing a heavy load of washing, so it appears to work OK. Pack it with less, also adjust the front legs a full turn higher than the rear so prevent walking when it spins. If you cant find the spanner that was included , just use an adjustable one.
