Go to the singer website, just google singer sewing machine. You can download the user manual there. I just printed out many of the pages, skipping the two foriegn languages. Free. You can also order them on the site. http://www.singerco.com/accessories/inst...

I know this is an old thread, but in case someone else runs across one of these fine machines I wanted to provide the FREE manual from Singer. Here is the direct download page. The 'model number' listed on the Singer site is '2010' http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/f2c4c8e1a309c8fba12c6dffbc81ab0064486f47.pdf

Hi Trudy,
Have your machine threaded through the needle as normal to sew. There's a screw that holds your foot on the machine on the left side. Take your thread and wrap it around that screw a couple of times, and hold onto it. Open the bobbin case and slide the white little lever inside the case all the way over to the right over the bobbin itself. Put your foot on the pedal and start the machine. It should begin filling your bobbin. Make sure you stop before you reach the outer black line on your bobbin.

I need a threading diagram for Singer 2010

Singer lists 2 machines with the 2010 model number here: https://www.singer.com/support . Do you have the Superb or the Touch Tronic? The manual for the Superb 2010 is currently here: https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%202010%20SUPERB%20Sewing%20Machine%20_English.pdf (page 13, 18 of the PDF). The manual for the Touch Tronic is here: https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%202010%20TOUCH%20TRONIC%20Sewing%20Machine.pdf (page 28, page 30 of the PDF). For both machines when threading the top thread, the take-up lever must be at the highest position and the presser foot should be up. Work from right to left from the thread spool with the appropriate spool holder in place. Put the thread through the upper guide or guide post. Then bring it around the thread guide and under the pre-tension spring (for the Superb) or under the flange and around the cylinder (for the Touch Tronic). Bring the thread down and into the tension disc. (On the Touch Tronic, keep the thread on the right side of the tension disc.) Bring the thread all the way down the right hand channel and then up the left channel. (On the Superb, you go around the check spring holder.) Bring the thread up to the take-up lever. On the Superb, bring the thread through the slotted eye in the lever. On the Touch Tronic, bring the thread to the back of the lever and then to the left of the take-up lever. Bring the thread into the slit by pulling the thread down and towards you. Run the thread down from the take-up lever and into the thread guide above the needle. On the Superb, there are two thread guides. Get the thread into both the horizontal guide and the one just above the needle. On the Touch Tronic, getting the thread into the thread guide takes holding your left finger at the bottom of the left channel. Then guide the thread into the thread guide from the right. Thread the eye of the needle from front to back. Make sure the slot in the needle is facing forward.

I hope this helps. See the appropriate manual for the bobbin threading. Other threading diagrams may be available on line but choosing the correct one depends on the machine.

Was this running ok, the poof?
There might be a reverse option on one of the selections switches.
If it has sat for a while, it might need servicing; gummed up inside.

I need a singer touch-tronic 2010 manual

I can't find any free downloads for a 2010, but I did find one for a touchtronic 2000. When the model numbers are close, very often the manuals apply to both machines pretty well. It should at least give you some info. Go to http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/SINGER/TOUCH-TRONIC%202000-_E. You'll need to give them a rating of your machine, but that's all. This site and it's downloads have been checked for viruses and such, and it is a safe site. It doesn't ask you for, nor does it take any personal information.

If you are willing to pay something for the manual, leave me a comment back. I know of a lot of sites that have manuals available for a charge, and I can quickly search those and get back to you as to which ones have your manual and an idea of the costs. The ones you can download from are, obviously, less expensive than the ones you get mailed a hard copy from.
