Panasonic TC-P42S2 .. Transparent 2 inch wide vertical discoloration on panasonic 42 inch plasma, very left of the screen.

Fixed mine, myself! Black 3 inch vertical band (stripe) appeared after a cros country move on our PC-T50G10. Occasionally we would see white band with multicolored pixel width stripes. Took the risk of taking off the back to see if I could see anything. Found places on sides and bottoms where plastic like 2" flat cables could be seen. Guesstimated where the band was and found that I could flip down a black cover on one end of the cable. Tried to pull it, gently. Mistake. Realized it wouldn't one out like computer hard drive cables, so I took out the screws holding the plate on the other end (it's only an inch long). That allowed me remove the cable. Took it out, cleared away dust, put t back and closed the black over. It worked! Put the screws back in, back on and... we are happy (although I do have four extra screws!). Just be gentle.

I have a Task Force 10" band saw, model # 90181.

for the tires, I asked in another forum and this is what I found:
fortyfinge user_offline.gif Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: USA Posts: 2 reputation_pos.gif way easier, way cheaper masking tape. Just plain white masking tape. About 8-10 wraps around the circumference of your wheel. I tried this about 15 years ago as a stop gap method while waiting for the new rubber ones I'd ordered to arrive. The new rubber was a pain to install and only lasted a couple of years under daily use.
I've been back to the tape for ten years. quote.gif

Just had this problem myself and fixed it as follows: Take out the photo conductor unit(PCU). Clean the inside of the printer, just dust up excess ink laying around, gently with a dry paper towel.

OK, on the PCU there is a wide black rubber band sort of thing... it's as wide as the drum(blue film) on the PCU. If you were to rotate the drum so the rubber band revolved one full time, eventually you would see a small silver square on the rubber band. Gently clean that off.

As you are facing the front of the printer, the PCU inserts with the silver square on the rubber band, on your left. If you look down into the printer, there is a corresponding sensor for that sliver square. The sensor is also silver...it's about 1/2 inch by 1 inch. Clean this. Doing so solved my problem.
Mine was coverd in black ink.. once I wiped it clean and put the PCU back in, it worked fine.

Can not locate belt dryer runs but tub will not turn

The belt goes around the tub and is driven by the motor which is also the blower motor. The motor is located in the bottom at the rear of the dryer. To access the belt, you first have to remove the top. To do this, remove the two phillips screws under the filter screen door. Remove the filter. The top is spring loaded to the rear and hooks in the front. To release, pull the top toward the front and lift up. You can do one side, then the other. When both sides are released, lift it up like the hood on a car. The belt is around the drum. It looks like a thin rubber band, approximately 1/8 inch thick and 1/2 inch wide.

Large blue band appeared on lower tray following wash cycle,

So. We had the same problem tonight and I have been sitting lookin at this thing for an hour and decided to run it and see what happened with no rubber band in there. After the cycle was over I noticed that my wife washes those "snap wear" containers in the dishwasher and these items have colored coated Mylar bands as sealers. When they heat they expand and can be dislodged. It was a coincidence that it wrapped itself around the bottom spinner. Myth debunked!!!!!

Beater keeps falling out. The plastic thing at the top of the beater inside the mixer needs to be replaced. Where can I get the part?

I used a wide scrapper blade to separate the cover from the main body. 3297c2c.jpg----

Rubber bands pop off of wheels

My Delta 14" had the same problem. My fix was to get new rubbers, took care of my issue. They do stretch, but the newer the rubbers are the more the will retain there form, the older they are, not so much.
