Go to the manufacturers site and see if there is a windows 7 webcam driver, if not try the vista driver.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Acer Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Web cam drivers.

Try using ManyCam. It comes with drivers and software.

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use, and you will always know where your webcam software is.

My microphone only works for a short amount of time on skype and than just turns off

Check ALL settings which came in the sftwr. for the camera. Also, you may have to connect to the rear of the machine, instead. Disconnect camera and cables, Uninstall and then reinstall sftwr. then try again. If it is new and you have a receipt, take it back AFTER contacting Logitech/Creative, 1st. Good Luck

Webcamera is disabled or has failed.

You will have to get the software for W7 for the web camera, assuming it is available. Find the website of the web camera manufacturers andsee if they have an updated driver. It'll be under 'Support' on the website.

A problem occured while installing. Camera setup is not working.

Try to fully unistall the software and try it again but please follow the directions.

From my understanding you may have to load the driver 1st then connect the webcam.
Check the easy directions.
If you are using Windows Vista - good luck,
Blessings,

From lenovo side no SQL server and .Net programes are given and might be they are loaded by your dealer.Secondaly you might be using vista home basic or home premium for the same and on both the OS neither SQL server nor .Net is supported so either you will have to use xp prof or vista business to use the both.

According to Sony's own site (see link), the DSC-S30 is non-compatible. Operation with the Microsoft® Windows Vista operating system is not guaranteed.
It's up to you if you still want to try.

Couldn't find a driver for you, sorry.
Good Luck

If you bought the webcam in pre-vista days, you need to find new software. Go to the webcam's manufacturer's site and check if they have software with vista support.
