I have a B40 and I can select a cup size however, after selecting the cup size a little if any water comes out ? What's the problem ? I've cleaned the unit, and made sure that there are no clogs as well.

the Keurig is supposed to keep at least 12 OZ of hot watet at the ready...
when you press brew, the pump pushes water into the bottom of the heater... the hot water comes out the top into a clear plastic holder with probes sensing the height of the water... when the proper height is reached, the motors change state... other valves open up and that pur-measured water goes from the plastic holder tank to the arm touching the K-Cup...
Try running vinegar thru the unit and maybe the sensor probes are scaled... otherwise... you may have a intermittent connection and would beed to reseat the low voltage wires from that water height container...
involved taking the unit apart... :(
try the vinegar first.
Seems like internal cables need reseating.....
I posted how to open it... do not do unless its out of warranty... and you have a few hours of time to disassemble it...

I too own a Keurig Platinim.. I haven't a solution for your problem but I can tell you that your description of it is right on... I have had the same problem. Every month or two, my Keurig will decide I need a large cup rather than the size I chose. I've found no way to solve it... even unplugging the machine doesn't help. In the end, I remove my Kcup, and let the machine process a large cup of water. After that, it runs perfectly.... well, until the next time the Ghost appears.
