I have had my PS3 for a little over a year and have had no problems with it. It worked on Sunday afternoon at my house but when I brought it back to my school, it wouldn't work that night. It turns on, the fan runs, I can hear it loading the game but there is no video or sound. At first I thought it was just the cords and I had to get new ones but then I tried my cords on someone else PS3 and it worked fine. Can anybody help as to why I am having this problem?
PS3 is The amazing device by sony but it has some common problems like Audio , video problem etc.... Good news is that these all problems can be repaired with the help of DIY Guides, one such guide available at PS3 Repair Blog
When the ps3 is on standby, press and hold the power button for over 4 seconds, it runs the optimal settings screen. hope this helps
When turning on the system, just hold down the power button for FIVE seconds. It should beep at you and then restart over whatever cables you've hooked it up with.
The Problem might be that on the Back of the Ps3 the Red yellow and white plug is loose i have this problem but you have to adjust it once in awhile and try to plug it in the back of the TV or the front depends really.
