SOURCE: Frigidaire dishwasher model GLD2250RDC0 leaks

You may want to check the door alignment itself. Many people open and close the door improperly and when they load it sometimes they put pressure on the door in one corner or the other. Check to make sure the door is completely shut and shut properly. It will be a pain, but let it dry out and tuck moisture revealing cream on the bottom seam. This will reveal where the moisture is coming from, but that is a pain. I think you will find a misaligned door is the culprit

Garbage disposer leaking at bottom

Since you have checked all pipes and see no leaks next please check the area around the top and bottom of drain housing. If that's not leaking there is a gasket inside the disposal that could fail and cause water to leak into the motor area and then leak through the bottom of the unit. Generally in my experience replacing the whole unit is a time saver because access to that gasket is a pain and finding the right gasket can be timely. Depending on how old the unit is I would just replace it.

Instructlions edesa fridgefreezer

Since you didn\'t say, I do not know who manufactured the refrigerator/freezer of which you write. Nor do I know the model number. Fortunately, leaking freezers leave a wide evidence trail.

If the inside of a freezer door is icing up, that usually means there is an air leak to the outside of the freezer. Warmer, moist air is being sucked into the freezer, right where that moisture is freezing almost instantly, and depositing the ice right where the leak is. So, where you see the ice is pretty much where the air is coming in. That\'s where the gasket is bad.

The part that seals the door is called a gasket. It is a magnetized rubber strip that goes around the entire door, where the door contacts the main box of the freezer. As I said, this gasket is magnetic. Close the door and carefully check the entire perimeter of the door. (that means the whole rubber strip, every inch) Where the ice is on the inside, the gasket will be torn, folded over, or defective in some other way. There can even be tears in the folds of the rubber part of the gasket. Check it all, carefully. It should be readily apparent; kinked, torn, melted, yanked, out of it\'s channel, etc. The idea is to get it properly shaped so it seals to the main box of the freezer.

If you can repair it, do so. High quality silicone caulk can seal small tears in the rubber. If not, go to where you bought it, or call the 800 number and ask about a new gasket. Look for labels and/or plates, inside the door edges, on the back, anywhere. The info is there. Find it. A freezer door will not seal without a properly functioning gasket.

After the door gasket is repaired, set the freezer to maintain a constant temperature of 0\' F maximum. Get a freezer/refrigerator thermometer at K/Wal Mart or similar store and get the temps correct.

The fridge should be 40\'F MAX. 34\'F is much better. The freezer should be 0\'F max. 10\' below 0\' F is even better.

The leaking gasket on your freezer is sucking electricity and costing you money in electric bills. The sooner it\'s repaired, the quicker you will recover the money you spent on the new gasket.

If necessary.

Good luck.

I have a Kohler toilet. The triangular black gasket between tank and boel needs to be replaced. While I had the tank off, I noticed the large plastic pipe that comes from the tank is threaded like a screw....

Inside the tank it has a gasket from the stand pipe to the bottom of the tank. The stand pipe threads go through the tank and a plastic nut holds it to the tank. Then a gasket goes on the nut and threads to make a seal between the tank and bowl. I have included this picture that has the above look. I hope this will be of some help for you.

Pump is leaking on model WSM2000HAWAD, I believe a 1988 model, Ser # FZ604208. Leaks at the seam and/or gasket where it looks like the pump housing was originally assembled from two halves. I would...

What you can do is to open out the pump assembly and clean it well from all dirt and reassemble. The leakings can be plugged by proper sealing, tightening of the hose joints. replace the gasket if worn out and the replacement type pump with the same mountings will not be difficult to fix.

Trans leak Ithink it is coming from behind the electronic module but can Ifix it myself without causing any damage tosomething inside the trans.

Yes you can!
1, Disconnect the negative side of the Battery.
2. There is an bolt/screw holding down the electrical connection. Remove this bolt. I believe it is 8mm.
3. Pull the electrical connection cluster up and out.
4. You should see (from the top) bolts holding the electrical module = Transmission Solenoid to the Transmission. Remove these bolts. I believe they are 10mm.
5. Lift the Solenoid up straight. There should be a gasket. This gasket may be leaking and should be replaced.
