How do you change the blades / can't seem to get them out
On Arcitec models, the whole heads simply pulls off the top of the shaver. See picture below.

The only way you can clean these machine is the use of a needle.
you need to use a needle to take the hair and other stuff out and it take a lots of time. untile the blade turns freely in the chamber by your finger. other wise you have to replace the whole head. as of they plan to do to get more money from the users.

I just got off the phone with philips on this. answer... you are not able to disassemble. In a shocking disclosure ..they do recommend buying new head unit at about 40 bucks.
Bye Bye norelco. Your shortsighted stupidity and greed in creating this design will hopefully bite you.

SOURCE: how to remove the blades
On Arcitec shavers, the blades can not be removed from the head assembly. This makes it difficult to thoroughly clean them and they must be replaced reqularly because of this.
If needed, you will find replacements at shaveroutlet.com.. See link below

The user manual will not help you with this because the Arcitec models were designed so that the cutters could NOT be removed to be cleaned. This is a major disadvantage with the Arcitec models as you can not disassemble the heads to thoroughly clean them. This causes you to have to replace them more frequently.
You can try running the shaver head in a dish of rubbing alcohol to try to loosen the build-up and rinse it out but that's about all you can do.
If you need to replace them, you will find at shaveroutlet.com. See link below
