What kind of batteries are you using? Try regular AA Duracell Coppertop Batteries. I have a Canon A560 and I have the best luck with them. Forget the rechargeable they are hopeless. Mine rechargeable don't hold a charge.

You can also try wiping the battery terminals well with a dry cloth. The terminals may be dirty from fingerprints or dirt.

Give them a call. Unfortunately, I cannot find any support for your camera.

The only other thing I can think of is a glitch and you may want to reset to factory settings.
