Question about Euro-Pro S3325 Handheld Steam Vacuum

1 Answer

I used my steamer one afternoon, and the next morning, when I plugged it in and tried to use it, it would not produce steam. What can I do? I love to clean the grout etween the floor tile with it. I need to finish my job as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,
Sounds like the switch on the handle or the steam release solenoid on the steam chamber is faulty ,use a volt meter/tester to see if you have current to the solenoid when you turn on the switch. If there is no current you have to go for a replacement of your solenoid or the switch which is found to be faulty

Thank you!

My shark steamer is foaming and no steam is coming out

You cant put soap in the steamers, only water. Clean out water container and start new. Also, clean hole where steam comes out with something thin. Make sure it is heating up enough to produce steam, otherwise heat assembly is broken.

My compact steamer does not let the steam out when I press the black release button help?

I examined mine. There is literally NO hole in the steam wand for the steam to exit. It's a wonder the thing didn't blow up. Take it back and be glad you still have your face.

Vax floor steamer is not steaming

First check the fuse in the power point plug, and replace if necessary. If ok, then it is either a loose or disconnected electrical wire, defective on/off switch, or a burnt out heating element.

Gets super hot but steam won't come out.

i have a simular steamer made by a different company. it used to work when i had first gotten it, but i think one time that i had plugged it in for a long period of time without using it has caused the plastic parts under the trigger that releases the steam flow to melt. so now the steamer that i have still heats up really hot but when i try to push the button it does nothing, no steam will come out of it at all... so i think my mistake was plugging it in without using it for too long, making it now inoperable basically garbage. sorry to say

Steam will not travel through hose scunci steamer ss1000

Blocked with limescale maybe? if its heating to correct temperature to disperse steam then I has to be blocked, that or its not heating up to boiling heat

Lights on but no steam and getting hot

In order to produce steam, you have to "pump" the steamer. After it heats up, pump it while moving it back and forth on the floor while mopping - it takes a few strokes to get the steam really rolling. I love mine - ;)

Heats up and produces steam but the release button does not open the flow of steam.

To remedy this, I did the following:
1) Removed screws from: a) Lower area of handle (1 screw), b) Top of steamer, under round rubber flap around fill hole (2 screws), c) Front of steamer where nozzles attach (2 screws)
2) Removed back of handle, top of steamer, front of steamer where nozzles attach
3) Once all parts are removed, you can see a brass button that is pushed by the trigger
4) Using a needle-nose pliers, grasp and rotate the button several times in both directions (you may hear it cranking against the interior spring). Do this until it turns fairly easily with the pliers.
5) Once this is done, you fill find that the brass button can be very slightly depressed with a bit of force. You may also need/want to unfold a large paper clip to push into the nozzle hole to help unsticking the brass button (not sure if that helped in my case, but it was something I tried along the way). When the brass button moves in and out (again, it won't move much), the steam release mechanism is unstuck!
6) Reassemble all parts (everything snaps back neatly into place).
This worked for my unit!
