Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Hard Drive (20GB)
Ok so i turn on my xbox 1 day and this E68 **** shows up and then i cant get on live or anything and i was wondering if im able to use a transfer cable kit to try and transfer the data from this hard drive to the other can i?
The E68 is a weird error. Its normally from a hard drive failure. The underground xbox 360 scene says
THe E68 is a Hard Drive Error. The Hard drive is not properly configured: It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it.
If the xbox can play without the hard drive then this error can be caused by a problem with the fans that make them draw too much power, it can also be caused if you have unnecessary accessories attached to the console like an external fan unit. Attempt to remove unnecessary accessories first, and then necessary components such as the hard drive and USB devices.
If its the hard drive or your console causing the problems contact Microsoft they will probably fix your hard drive and maybe recover your game saves. On the newest games that info is stored on xbox live.
