Question about Motorola Mobility Moto Q
I can help you with your Motorola Moto Q not starting up problem.
What has most likely happened is that the firmware of your phone has become corrupted. When this happens your phone will act erratically, freeze, or no longer finish (or even start) its boot sequence.
This is a very common situation with many phones; also with MP3 players, GPS devices and cameras.
The good news is that if you take your phone into your carrier's store, they can reflash it for you right there (if they have a competent tech handy.)
If you are comfortable with computers etc, you can also do it yourself. Your computer will communicate with and fix your phone, even though it doesn't seem to recognize it right now - I've seen this many many times.
My only warning for you is that if you are going to flash your phone yourself, you need to get the correct firmware from motorola's site for your carrier. I just downloaded the Verizon firmware as an example - Motorola's website has about ten different carrier firmwares for their MotoQ phone.
I hope that helps.
