You have the song on your computer?
Connect your mp3 player.
Go to My Computer and go to your mp3 player
Then copy your song and paste it into the folder on your mp3 player

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I need the drivers to download songs on my naxa nx-187 and no they dont have the software on their website

Hello.
Please follow these steps to put music on your Mp3 Player.

  1. Start off by putting a battery in you Naxa mp3 player. This is necessary in order to add music to a Naxa mp3 player. Naxa mp3 Players require one AAA battery and this battery goes into the back of the device.
  2. Plug your Naxa mp3 player into your computer. To do this, take the cap off of the bottom of the player. You will then be able to plug the Naxa mp3 player directly into a USB port on your computer.
  3. Open Windows Media Player and then click the "Sync" tab found at the very top of the program. Once you do, you will notice that the Naxa mp3 player is listed in the top right corner of Windows Media Player.
  4. Double-click the "Library" link on the left side of Windows Media Player. Once you do, several different options will appear underneath "Library."
  5. Click the "Songs" option found below "Library." Once you do, a list of all of the songs in your Windows Media library will appear in the middle of the program.
  6. Browse through all of the songs in your library and right click over any song you want to add to your Naxa mp3 player. After you right click on a song, you will need to select "Add to Sync List." You will then see the song listed in the column on the far right side of Windows Media Player. Continue doing this until you are finished putting music on the Naxa mp3 player.
  7. Click the "Start Sync" button located underneath the list of music you selected in Step 7. The music will then be added to the Naxa mp3 player
Thank You
From eHow.

I HAVE DOWNLOWDED SONGS BUT A LOT OF SONGS WONT COPY TO MP3

Okay, fist, you need to make sure the player is good (boots up, goes to menu, etc.). next, you need to put all of the songs into media player, then SYNCH them to the player. If you can't do that, try putting all of the songs into a folder called "music" and then put them into a subfolder called "albums." it should work shortly afterwards.

Yeah, I just went up and down their website. They are one of the few that don't post their manuals online. Many mp3 players have a "playlist on the go" feature (or some other such moniker) that allows you to create a playlist from the mp3 player itself, but will not transfer playlists properly from Windows Media Player. Other mp3 players require a firmware upgrade to fix the issue. Unless your manual states something specific about playlist transfer, I would go ahead and call Naxa to get clarification on this. Let us know what they say. Oh wait - they don't have a phone number. Try their e-mail support at support@naxaelectronics.com. Good luck!

Naxa mp4 player

Naxa's website is useless as far as getting product specs. Most likely, the songs you are trying to add are DRM-encrypted WMA files, and they do not have "transfer rights" on them. The solution is to convert them to Mp3 format using a WMA to Mp3 Converter, or to get the Premium (as in, "more expensive") verison of your online music service subscription - the upgrade that includes transfer rights.

Let me know if it is giving you a more specific error message.

Sorry for the delay. Naxa is not a brand I am familiar with, and they do not keep user's manuals on their website. As a last ditch effort, you could try dragging music files from your My Music or other folder, and then drag those files to a 2nd window for your device (which normally should be listed under My Computer).

If your computer is not recognizing the player, the near-universal shortcut is to disconnect the player from the computer, turn the player off, and then hold in the volume + button. Reconnect the player to the computer while holding in the volume+ button.

If these methods fail, here is their number:
customer service representative. Naxa Electronics, Inc warranty department can be reached M-F 10am-5pm PST at 866-411-6292.
