Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3c Cellular Phone

Motorazr V3c display not working

The problem I have is rather strange. I was ecstatic when I bought my brand new V3c from TATA Indicom. This didnt last long. The next day I woke up to find that my camera is not working (Its says System busy - try later). God knows what it is busy doing. Then after a while the display used to flicker and then one day it finally stopped displaying anything. Its just as its turned off.

I took it to the service center and they said its a flexi cable problem. But didnt have any spare parts. I took it another service center in our city and they said its PCB problem. But didnt have spare parts so had to wait.

Meanwhile I got my mobile deactivated and started using another mobile. As soon as i got it deactivated it worked perfetly fine.

Can there be a problem with the activation/deactivation?

Dear djohnjimmy the first shop is probably correct, It must be flex cable issue.

Remeber this cable passes through the camera, the lcd and the speaker on you ear at the same time.

The reason that the phone is reporting busy is because the data are being trasnferred to the data bus of the flex cable but it gets no responce (hence cracked or loose)

since this is working now I suspect a loose cable rather than cracked where you would be facing a continous and random situation of problems.

By flipping it you may have moved a bit the cable and reconnected just enough the loosed/cracked connector/track.

This some times happens. Your sim/uim card has gone bad. You have to go to a nearest Reliance web world and get a new sim/uim card. Do not worry, your number will remain same and talk time or data will also remain same. They will charge Rs 100.
