Question about Televison & Video
Dmtech lu20xt standby light is on but will not turn on by remote or any other means people have mentioned about punching in a code on the remote but i dont know how true this is please help
If what you are telling me is correct, you attempted to turn on the tv using the power button on the tv and the tv will not turn on.
If this is the case, the remote is not your problem, you have a problem with the combo unit it's self. There is not enough of an explanation for a resolution to your problem, but here are a couple of possibilities.
1. Stuck tape, if a tape is stuck in the combo will turn on try to fix the jam and if it cannot the tv will turn it's self back off.
2. if the tv will not even attempt to power on you can try to unplug the set for about 5 min to allow the microprocessor to re-set, then plug it back in again and see if you can turn it on by the button on the tv.
3. If number 1 and 2 are not your problem the television has malfunctioned. Unfortunately it is impossible to troubleshoot this kind of failure in this forum.

ou can also try an EEPROM RESET
Go into analogue tv moded pressing the TV-DVBT button press DISPLAY and the the digit 1 twice folllowed by the button labelled LINE. This will bring up a menu which you should use the down arrow key to select EEPROM reset and then the right arrow key to execute the function.
You must then turn the television off by the mains.
You should also check the DIVX on the DVD menu.
Eject the dvd tray and then press the red button titled setup. Select the tool box tab with the right arrow key. Before you press enter type the code 3333.
This will show you DIVX versian and the firmware version which should end in 18 or atleast 20 which is the most up to date.
The update will be avaliable on our website shortly.
