Hi could you remove the batteries and tell me if its says inovage anywhere at all also could you give me any serial or model numbers as their are different models and the instructions vary, as you want to program it to a sony tv then once i have the serial number i can then tell you how to do it.
have you tried using the auto scan function instead of putting the code in as sometimes the codes are a bit hit and miss, the auto scan involves you pressing the standby button until the telly turns off then you save that setting,
dont worry if you can give me more info on the model of remote then ill tell you how to set it up both ways ok
hi this is the auto set up option for most universal remotes so follow these instructions and see if its the same for your or not they are usually all pretty similar, the problem is if your trying to enter the code then they dont always work as the telly are different models so the codes usually work on older tellys and not the newer ones, so using the auto scan function usually picks up the correct code and turns the telly off you then store this setting on the remote and it should be then working your telly, so give these instructions a go and let me know how you get on ok
Start by turning on the device that you want to program.
(1) Press & release the device button that you want to program, lets say "VCR" LED will flase once
(2) Press & hold the "CODE SEARCH" button until the LED stays on.
(3) Press and release the POWER button. Point the remote at the device.
(4)The LED will flash as the remote is searching for the code.
(5) As soon as the device turns off press and release the "ENTER" button.
The remote should NOW be programed. .
