Question about Microwave Ovens
Sorry you are having trouble.
It sounds like a safety device called the thermal cut off has tripped. This is a fuse that will turn off all power if the temperature gets too hot on the oven cavity. If you want to attempt to repair yourself I would need the model and serial number to help guide you.
Since it is a safety concerning issue that most likely shut it down I would only recommend you trying this if you feel comfortable with making the repair.
