Use a card reader instead of the camera.

I keep trying to upload my pictures 2 my computer and when i pug the chord in nothing shows up. Can somebody help me!?

The first thing you should do is to try another usb cable to see if nothing still shows up. If the case is the same, you should comfirm if the camera driver is installed. Right click on my computer and select properties. In the dialogue box that pops up go to harware and under hardware select device manager. then the list of devices on your system will show. Look for for your camera. If you see it, it means the usb cable is working perfectly. If it has a yellow cuation sign next to it, it mans its driver is not installed. You will then need to intall the driver iether from the CD that caame with the Camera or download it from samsung site.

Good luck & God bless!

I want to upload my pics from my Coolpix L110 camera to my macbook pro. I've downloaded the Nikon transfer and View NX software suite but when I connect the camera via USB chord my computer doesn't detect...

Pros avoid this problem by using a card reader and downloading to a folder they create on their desktop. From there, the pics can be imported to the program of your choice.

Can another brand chord be used to download pics?

Your camera uses a standard USB-to-miniUSB adapter. If you want to get a new cable (or you might have one at home), it should look like this:

Hi there,

If you're a MAC user, you could still download pictures from your camera to PC.

No need for you to install any CD software because your camera will be recognized automatically as a removable disk.

Just try to make sure that you'll be using the USB cable supplied in the package and your PC does have good working USB ports.

For transferring pictures with OS (MAC):
- Turn off camera
- Plug USB cable to camera and PC
- Turn on camera
- Connect to computer or printer will come out on camera screen
- Select the desired one
- Press MENU/OK
- "New Hardware Found" will be seen on the right lower corner
- A window will pop out with various options
- Example: "Open to View Files", "Copt to a folder"...

* If nothing like those mentioned above happened,

Double check through Computer Devices with Removable storage:
- Look for DCIM folder in any of the Removable storage
- Select 100sscam folder inside DCIM folder
- Upon opening, all pictures will be viewed

Make sure to check your MAC System for the following:
- Power Mac G3 or later
- Mac OS 9.2~10.3
- Minimum 64MB RAM
- 110MB of available hard-disk space

I cant upload my pics!!

Does your camera supports memory card? If it support then directly insert your card into card reader and take your pics. Or else try to reset your camera. If this also doesnt work for you then try to first remove the old software and reinstall it again then restart and try again it will work!
