Question about Kyocera CS-2550 Black and White Copier
Scan 60 pages and scanner states memory is full... how do I correct this problem... In the pass I have ran more than a 1000 copies before this notice would pop up...
A KM-2550 has 64 MB RAM built in. I believe less than 30 of it is for image storage. You may be able to lower your scan resolution.
Best solution is to add more memory. Look for a Kyocera compatible 100 pin dimm (don't buy from the manufacturer). It will read 16 MB to 256 MB sticks. You have to take out 6-8 screws holding on the part of the back the sticks out on the upper left. Make sure after installing you print a status page to make sure the memory was recognized.
