Do you see any power light indicator blinking? Did you install something, before the problem starts?

If the PDA is completely powerless, you may want to start with the battery. It would be best to bring the PDA to the dealer and see if they have a spare battery that you may use for testing.

The problem could be a power issue, but most likely, it's a software related problem.

If you're able to test it with different battery, but you get the same problem, then contact the manufacturer and have them upgrade the firmware of your PDA. And that should fix the problem.

Thank you and good luck!

Use the following procedure to calibrate the control panel:

2. Press and hold the # key and the C key.

3. Turn the device on.

4. When a small white square appears in the upper-left corner of the control-panel display, touch

the square with a stylus.

5. When a small white square appears in the lower-left corner of the control-panel display, touch

the square with a stylus.

I have Sony DSC-T900 camera which has recently problem with touch screen sensor in the right corner below. Any function button displayed at the tight side in the bottom of screen does not work or...

For the touch screen to work properly, the screen has to be absolutely clean. From the description, it is evident that the issue is confined to one particular corner of the screen, and any button appearing on that part is not responding to touch. This means that the screen is not clean at that portion. Clean the screen using a good quality micro fiber cloth. Make sure that the screen is absolutely clean and try using with a clean finger or stylus (Sony calls it Paint Pen or Touch Pen).

My touch screen froze, so I did a soft reset. This didn't work. So I did a hard reset. All seemed to be going to plan until the 'Align screen' appears. I align the screen as instructed but instead of going...

Whenever you do the alignment touch the spot on the screen with the stylus and hold the stylus on the mark until it moves to the next corner.... this may work

I have been having problems with the alignment on my touch screen. Just reset it and have been tapping the target repeatedly but it continues to move diagonally across the screen ad nauseum. What can I...

Remove the Screen protector from the device screen and then calibrate the screen with the stylus.

If the issue still persists, perform the Soft Reset on the device.

1. Use an unfolded paper clip, or the reset tool at the tip of your stylus.
2. Gently press and release the RESET button inside the hole on the back panel of your device .
3. After a soft reset, a logo screen appears, followed shortly by a Preferences screen asking you to set time and date.
4. All data on your device should be retained.

If the issue still persists, perform the Hard Reset on the device.

1. Press and hold the Power (on/off) button on the front panel of your device.
2. While holding Power, use an unfolded paper clip, or the reset tool at the tip of your stylus. Gently press and release the RESET button inside the hole on the back panel of your device.
3. If you see a progress bar, keep holding the Power button.
4. Next, the Palm Powered screen will appear. Release the Power button when you see it.
5. You'll see a screen that asks: Erase all data? YES = "up" button NO = any other button. Press UP on your 5-way navigator to complete the hard reset.

Your device will then take you through a series of screens to calibrate the digitizer and verify the time and date.
Note: A hard reset does not delete the current date and time. It does restore other settings to the factory default.
