Question about Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Aioc.exe My Lexmark all-in-one will not run. The message says that the aioc.exe file is missing. do you know where I can download it? Thanks

    I have the same problem it is doing my head in I am trying to download an up to date driver 4 my lexmark x1180 printer it stopped working at the begining of this month went to lexmark website and it said download driver but cannot get it to work as there is the problem with AIOC .Please can anyone help.

    seems i have same problem with x1185 lexmark.. aioc.exe doesnt work. Does any one know when the fix will be released?

This is what i did to fix the problem

>I went to Dir "C:\Program Files\Lexmark 1200 Series"

>I then found the file (aioc_app.ini) I cut this out and pasted it to my desktop.

>Then I opened up the lexmark all in one center program and there you go it was working.

> placed the .ini file back in the folder

Tried this twice and got the same results both times.

What is happening is that your Lexmark all-in-one center doesn't think your monitor can handle the program (or something to that effect).
You will NOT have to restart your computer either.
Just restart your Lexmark All-In-One program and you can start scanning.

You would need to download the Vista 64bit package of Lexmark Productivity. Install this version and you should be all set. Hope this helps.

Aioc.exe has stopped working lexmark 5400


this usually happens when you try using the old cd on a vista os.. most of the time the cd was made to work on xp only since during the time of release of those printer, vista was not yet out of the market.. try downloading this patch ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/driver/inkjet_drivers/AIOCenter_patch
disable user account control first.. you can do this in msconfig on the tools tab then run the patch
chose the right series of you printer.. normally when you run the file it will extract the file and run the patch.. cancel the application after extracting the file..
go to c drive on you computer... look for the folder LxkPatchAIOC
go inside the folder and look for the word aioreg.. right click on it and choose merge...
that should fix the issue..
if in case it didnt work on you... try calling 1-800-lexmark

go to www.lexmark.com and download and reinstall the software again... that should fix it up

Printer not working


Through Add/Remove programs, uninstall all Lexmark items.

Next, make sure that the printer is deleted (Control Panel-Printers)

Disconnect the USB cable from the PC.

Reboot.

Insert the Lexmark CD, If yo uhave the correct OS drivers on the disk,and let it run. When it tells you to, connect the USB cable form the printer to the pc. __________________
