If sim card has been tried on another cellphone and it didn't recognize it as well as the first phone, there's a probably a problem with the sim card. The wireless company service provider can change it. If the simcard is ok the cellphone may not do automatic search for network. Then you have to search manually for the network.

Find a cellphone shop that can unlock your cellphone so you can use it with other network. Also, you may try "Tornado or Turbo SIM". That is similar to SIM card but ver thin and you can put your SIM on top of "Tornado SIM" this will allow you to use any locked phone and your SIM card with other network. Search for "Tornado" or "Turbo" SIM on ebay or google to see the difference.

When ever i put my sim in my phone it says limited service i cant make or receive calls i have E900

Hi,

Either of this 3 could be the problem on your phone;

It could be your cellphone signal was weak and a possible that there was problem transmiting and receiving network signals.
Can be your sim card was broke or its's been blocked by network, better test the phone with another sim.
Your sim has no access to the network you trying to use. phone may be sim lock and can only use only the provided to use.

Hope this helps

My cellphone can read my 3g sim card but I get no signal from SP.

Hello

I have to inform you that China sells alot of "unlocked" phones some of them are legit some are not. There are alot of conterfeit phones coming out of China you have to be careful. It's clear that the sim card is fine if you used it previously in another AT&T phone.

The problem is the phone itself, either A. it is not unlocked as it was advertised to be or B. the phone is bunk period....can you post the website you purchased this from ?

There is not much we can do from this site, AT&T was your best bet. Typically they will not deal with "unlocked" phones did you mention to them that you purchased it from China ?

Post back with the link to the site or any other questions you have for further assistance. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

SIM card not valid

Hi thee, I list here the possible reasons for "Sim card not valid"

1 - The phone is locked to a different network. In this case the phone usually accept the sim card the same , and has no network, but sometimes it may return the error message. Unlock the phone at a local shop.

2 - the SIM card is faulty. Test the card on a different phone to find out.

3 - The phone is faulty. Test the phone with different Sim cards, if the Phone returns same error on all cards, then the phone is faulty.
