Ice build up under vegetable and fruit bins

Pull the bins out. Just above them is a channel with a hole in the middle. Push a drinking straw in the hole to clear the drain. The water will drain away instead of dripping under the veg bins.

Where is the draining hole in a ge profile model tbx25pa refrigerator with top freezer

Underneath the cooling coil (evaporator) located in the freezer, there is a drain pan with a heater to warm it during the defrost cycle. The drain opening is probably blocked by ice or debris.

Water collects in the fresh meat compartment (in refrigerator section). Ice forms on the bottom (under the fresh vegetable bins) of the refrigerator.

Your drain is likely plugged and not allowing the defrost water to drain out. You will need to remove the rear freezer panel and thaw the drain. I would recommend installing a drain heater while you have it apart. They are inexpensive and easy to install. They come with installation instructions.

Water under the vegetable and fruit bins in refrigerator. Model number TBX190ABBRAA. Read that is could be a clogged defrost drain tube, and I do not see a drain pan. Would like to fix myself without...

the compressor is sitting in the drain pan
the defrost tube is behind the freezer rear wall
the best way to fix this is to shut the unit off and let it defrost

Water collects in bottom of refrigerator under fruit/vegetable bins

When a fridge goes in to defrost it melts the ice on the coils in the interior of the freezer. Often times there is a drain that runs to a sliding tray under the fridge. If this is clogged you will get water building up under the bins.

Water accumulating under the fruit and vegetable bins

If you look behind the panel inside the fresh food section there is a drain coming from freezer and then to outside back and down to a tray next to compressor. The drain is most likely blocked there. Let me know if I am wrong, Sea Breeze

Water runs under the vegetable bins

There should be a collecting channel with a hole and a tube reaching down to somewhere above the cooling compressor (Back of unit) where it should evaporate with the heat.
Most people never clean that hole and tube simply because they do not know what is for or the manual is silent. Sometime can be jammed with little icecube. I us thick plastic line from toy to clean, electrical wire with copper core not naked is also oke. Do not put wild force. This is the cooler part. The deep freezer part needs defrosting on temporarily basis and for that you need some small low bin to start collecting or keep on mobbing the floor.

Refrigerator has water underneath vegetable and fruit bis. It seems like an air flow situation

We found that the drainage for the defrosting was plugged. The water from the freezer drains from a hole that's on the top of the fresh food unit. There's a gutter that shunts the water to a tube that runs to a tray underneath the refrigerator. The tray was bone dry. So we unscrewed the gutter from the top of the fridge, and yes, it was plugged. Some Scrubby bubbles later, the plug was done. We reinstalled it, and now we don't have water underneath the vegetable/fruit bins.

This is for the GE TBF15DC For other models, your mileage may vary.
