Question about Washing Machines
Here is what the manufacture says about OL followed by my comments
oL flashes when the machine/motor control
detects a load size that exceeds the
washer’s capacity OR basket can not
disengage. This may signify:
➔ Load size exceeds washer capacity.
Remove excess laundry, then restart cycle.
➔ Mechanical friction on drive mechanism,
not allowing the basket to disengage.
Phil's thoughts ----->
If you have overloaded it this could happen, but once the too large load is removed and the load canceled and restarted it is fine.
If the OL continues or it was from an overload one of two things has occurred.
The first could be that an article of clothing worked it's way between the basket and tub and is restricting the movement of the basket. To check for this, unload the basket and see if it turns freely around. If you feel or hear a drag it may have something caught. It would need disassembled to remove or repair.
Let me know if you have questions.
