Check the front axle, where it mounts to the frame. Spray the channel with white lithium grease (auto parts supply, W/Mart). My axel has a single bolt that holds it to the frame, and will make noise if I don't keep it lubed, especially in the area of the bolt. Hope this helps!

First put the machine on the side with the muffler facing the floor . Right behind the rear wheel you have a 10mm bolt that you have to remove and look for another 2 10mm bolts holding the plate that you remove the first bolt (one should be at the bottom and the other one on the side) .
Slide that plate out of the machine and now you be able to see the belt that goes to the transmission and also the drive clutch cable.
