Ricoh 3235 scan to eail will not work

Ricoh scanner uses a email account to send the scan to email. That email account has the wrong password on Ricoh settings, probably someone changed the password and now needs to be updated. I hope it helps.

Check exposer lamp to see if it comes on first. try printing counter report if same problem. Then could be drum unit or not getting a charge to roller on drum. then board could be bad.

check your driver, postscript? Or quality settings of the printer from the start menu

get operation manual for email and scan will explain how to set it up. or have copier technician come out.

Go to Ricoh website click support tab and do a search or press user tools/counter then system tab then administratior tab then address book new user program then enter name then email tab and under protection tab select sener too and save it.

its not connected properly, you need to check destination, passwords, users names etc.

To use the scan to email function on your copier you need some settings from your internet provider (email setting specifically). Go into Outlook options and get your SMTP server, user name and password.

On your copier you need to change under User tools, system setting and file transfer and put these settings in. As long as your machine is set up for scan to folder thats all you should need.
