No power and yellow lights blinking

Could be either motherboard or memory problem. To fix try these procedures:
  • unplug the charger
  • remove the battery,
  • press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
  • release the power button
  • plug charger and battery and start it
If problem persists, open the memory cover on the back and swap the SODIMM memory sticks, and try.
If the same, leave just one memory stick and try again.
If not, try the second stick only.
If everything fails your BIOS is corrupt, or motherboard has short.
Check the power jack.
Regards, Mike

Which is the difference between PC2-4200 sodimm and PC2-4200s sodimm?

The "S" simply means SO-DIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module). So once you have specified that it is SODIMM you are referring to, the 4200 and 4200S mean the same. (If however SoDIMM is not specified for a stick of RAM, the S at the end of the number would tell you that it is indeed SoDIMM for laptops/printers).

Memory (Upgrade-Max) how I buy for the ASUS L 7200?

You could have tried GOOGLE.
Your computer has 64mb ram built in and can take a maximum of 320mb. You have 1 slot to add memory too
You can add 256MB, 144-pin SODIMM, SDRAM, PC133

My medion ram2020 will not start up i press the power button and the power lights come on but goes off after 3 or 4 seconds any help

It sounds like you have had a motherboard failure. Just to be sure try to measure the voltage at the tip of the ac adapter. If the voltage is appropriate and the battery is powered up, remove the battery and try to power the system up just using the ac adapter. If the system fails to start, there is the distinct possibility that the motherboard power circuit has failed.

No battery life

Yes the battery is probably getting weak. If you get a model number you can probably find one on ebay. Here is a link for Medion batterys.

Can't Find 2nd ram to upgrade memory

Sometimes Laptops will have 1 slot internal and 1 slot on the bottom side thats readily accessible via a removable plate.

You'll be perfectly find with the 1GB internal and adding the 2GB to replace the 1GB stick on the bottom side.
Also Windows XP and VISTA 32bit can only address and use about 3.25GB of ram anyway.

Recently Microsoft released a patch that's kind of tricking consumers, People calling and complaining so much to MS and PC manufacturers about not seeing all their ram when they installed 4GB so they Released a fix that shows it as 4GB but still the 32bit OS cant use the extra over 3GB

Want to upgrade my memory on my Toshiba Satellite M105-3004

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-M105/take-apart-notebook-2.htm

It is buried deep in the computer. This will show you where it is and how to get to it. The one stick is very easy but to get to the other, you have to go through the keyboard. The second piece is removed on the second page. If this takes care of the problem, make sure to give me the fixya. :) If you still need help, post a comment and I will get back to you very soon. Thanks.
