Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Thanks for using FixYa. HP Fax drivers are included in Snow Leopard for supported HP devices. Fax drivers allow you to send a print job directly to the HP All-in-One and the device will then Fax the document according to the information you have entered in the Fax Recipients pull-down menu in the Print dialog. However, HP Fax drivers are not automatically added by Mac OS X 10.6. To add a Fax driver queue:
1. Make sure your printer is turned on and connected.
2. Open a document to print (or fax), and then choose File > Print. You can also go directly to System Preferences > Print & Fax.
3. From the Printer pop-up menu, choose your printer.
In the Printer Name column, printers will be listed. Two printer drivers will be listed, one driver for printing and the second driver for Faxing.
4. Select the printer name ending in Fax, and then click Add to create the fax driver queue. This will be listed as HP-Fax .
