I think what the apple tech is telling is to check if there;s any MAC address filtering enable on your wireless modem/router that can proven your IPOD touch to work wiirelessly with your network. But the best way to fix the problem is to access your modem/router setup and check all the wireless settings on it including the wireless security to make sure you;re using the correct security key for your ITouch and also to check if MAC address filtering is really enable.

Sorry to say but the phone support service is different from the service that you avail, but in order for us to help you further with your problem we need to know the brand and model of your wireless modem/router so we can tell you how to change the settings from it.

My i pod touch says "i pod is disabled- connect to itunes, had forgotten password and thought it was this and it was not and now thats what it says and can't do anything with it now

if you have forgotten your password, then the only solution is to restore it. this means that it will restore the ipod to its factory default settings, with all the music, vidoes, etc. deleted off of it. instructions are here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 Hope that helps

I Pod shows good wireless connection but will not show web pages It is on a BT Home Hub That allows full service on laptop and WII

Dear michael_m75, I had the same problem with my iPod. It's because (I guess) your modem/router has MAC adress filtering. You need to get your ipod full acces through you MAC filtering. To know your iPod's MAC adress, go to: Settings > General > Info > (scroll down) Wi-Fi Address. If you give me some more info 'bout your router/modem, I'll search some more info.
Kind regards, FriskYR

My i pod will connect to wifi, but i cant connect to the wifi in my house

Is your wifi network secure in anyway? It sounds like you may have MAC filtering on. If so, you need to add your ipod's mac address to your list of allowed devices in your router's admin console.

My touch shows that I have a wifi connection, but i cant use it.

All you have to do to the ipod is go to settings, wifi and make sure its turned on in the same place you should see a list of wifi networks you can connect to just tap the one you want and the ipod will do its thing your done, but if you done all that and you ipod doesnt go online says connected but wont access the net, my guess is the wifi router you mite have some prob with that, make sure the internet ethernet cable is pluged into the modem plug not the numbered slots after this you should be good to go unless your wifi modem is new if so some req you to plug it to your computer via ethernet cable to program it first! Hope this helps
