Half the display panel is black on rca tv, if i tap the tv it comes back on. could it be a short in the wiring? i need a wiring diagram for a l42fhd37r model

It is most likely a loose ribbon cable from the TCON board to the flat panel itself. They commonly come loose when the TV is on a swivel stand and is moved frequently. This is because the swivel motion often causes a slight twisting of the LCD frame and this works the ribbon cables loose.

HI! I recently had this same issue when I installed my sub and amp. the problem with mine was that the rca inputs on my amp were loose and if i wiggled them a little bit, it would stop. the end result was i ended up getting a new amp. try wiggling the rca's right at the amp slighly and if it stops then you have solved your issue- of course u then need to decide if you want to replace or repair you r amp

My rca pearl th1102 mp3 player wont turn on

There are several reasons why it's not turning on. They are:

1. Bad battery .
2. Loose wire connection.
3. Power button.
4. Corrupted program.

Contacting the manufacturer and have them check these things will be the best thing to do. Because, they will know if your battery needs to be replaced or there's just loose wire connection that needs to be soldered.

If it's the power button, then it should not cost too much.

Good luck and have a great day!

I have a really bad alternator whine in my speakers ran by an amp. I cant tell where it is coming from. I've add grounds to every thing metal that I could find. But could hardly tell a difference in the...

A high pitched, consistent wining through your speakers is usually caused because you have ran your input wires from your deck to your amp along side your amps power wire. Can also happen if your speaker wires are ran with power wires as well. If moving the wires away from one another does not work. Try installing a noise filter.

My Big Screen making a loud beeping noise!

The beeping noise is usually related to the Horizontal out put transistor or flyback being faulty or one of the coils are loose near the flyback. If you remove the rear cover without touching anything can you tell if the beeping is coming from the large transformer with the red wire coming out of the top or is it coming from a black transistor on a aluminum heat sink.

RCA MM61110 Problems

I took the back panel off and noticed that one of the cooling fans was not working..... apparently the computer tells the tv that it will not be able to cool. I cleaned things using air and basically followed the wires for the cooling fan and wiggled them... lol.. works fine now

Protection Light Is Coming On

You say the protection mode only occurs when you plug the RCA's in. Does it have to be both RCAs or just one?

The other end of the RCA cable is plugged into the HU?

It possible the RCAs have too much DC voltage on them, causing the amp to go into protection.

Is there a short in the RCA cable?

I would definitely check out the RCA connection at the back of the HU, as it sounds like there could be other issues there. Make sure the RCA connectors aren't touching any other metal (especially +12V).
