Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Laptop Toshiba Satellite Laptop M35X-S311. Problem began by freezing up. Then progressed to not wanting to power up. It would freeze up every time you could get it to power up. It would work OK in safe mode. Now it will not power up unless the case is flexed diagonally.

Hi, sounds like a loose component inside your computer. Probably not worth looking at yourself if it's in warranty, get it sent back to Toshiba.

I bought a toshiba satellite P300-1AO in germany and its just started to freeze what could be causing it and what can i do to make it stop

well..is this a laptop? is so, the power supply handles 90 to 250..so that may not be an issue...however, the freeze actually comes from heat..raise the laptop about 1 to 2 inches off the desk..

My toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 boots up normally and then before it freezes I hear a static sound coming from the speakers and then computer does nothing at all

the problem seems to be related to static shock affecting toshiba mousepads, speaker grills, and USB ports. It's a common problem, and it is affecting my Toshiba laptop too. Here's an article I came across trying to diagnose the frequent freeze-ups:

This sounds like something has messed up your crystals in your display, and while I do not know that much about laptop displays this sounds like it can only be fixed by a technician or by replacement.
