They should sort by your choice ...you never told anything about what kinda mail you have ..or if you use an outlook program ..if you do ..the problem may be cause in default they will arrange after the moment they came ...and even if they are sent in an earlier hour or date ..if they came in a certain order they will arrange like that..
If yo use outlook ...just reinstall the program and if it is anything wrong with it ..this will solve it ..if you just use a web page than its a problem with the server ..or you got a spyware that messes up with them ..
in the second case try to use another computer ..and see if they will arrange themselves on choice ...in the order they should ..If they do ...than you have to reinstall the program or the operation system cause you have a bug in the system ..and I will not mess with the mail if I were you ..cause if someone gets to your mail ..it will be in your bank account sooner or later ..

Kindly first check the format of your system date i.e. control panel regional settings date time. Secondly check the format on your email i.e. settings customize both should be similar.

confirm you don't get to press f1 while booting.

Finally update whatever software you are using to view your emails.

It means the problem is with the settings with your id at your email server. Kindly let me know the email server whose id is affected so that I can guide you to sort it out.

When using excel how to get dates to automaticly update in order

Sort the data to represent descending order for a chronological data set. If your information is listed in a table format in multiple columns, make sure you select all of the data and sort on the date field.

How can i change to yahoo classic

As I see it, "yahoo classic" no longer exists. (I could be wrong, but it's not immediately apparent on the web page.) If you like having more control over how email is displayed onscreen, I strongly suggest using a mail reader program, such as Outlook Express ("OE") (for Windows XP and before) or a similar program for Apple-based operating systems ("Eudora" comes to mind.)

With OE (or "Live mail" I believe is the newer version for Windows 7 and later) or for any mail reader program, you manually set the server information according to the help menus / answers / FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) of your mail service. Example: for yahoo, you would log into your yahoo mail and click on "help" and search for "Outlook Express" or for "SMTP" or "POP3" in order to learn their server settings. Then it's a (rather simple but *exact*) process of setting your reader's account settings to match what yahoo wants them to be.

WHY would you do this? Simple: control. With a reader program you can "download" your email to your system's hard drive. This means the mail comes *off* yahoo's servers and *onto* your hard drive. It is then deleted from yahoo's servers (unless you click the checkbox options for "keep" / "keep until", etc.) and is now under your control, on your hard drive, where you can do more things more easily (saving attachments, editing text, copy / paste / etc.) You can also *sort* much faster using OE -- sort by subject, +/- alphabetically, by date (descending / ascending = newest to oldest or oldest to newest) or by author (sender of the email) or even by size, attachments, priority, LOTS of options. This comes in handy when you're trying to delete *groups* of emails, like spam or newsletters.

Email readers (like OE or even Microsoft Office's "Outlook") can even be used to auto-sort incoming (POP3) emails into folders so all the jokes you get from Aunt Mary all end up in a "humor" folder or sent straight to File 13 (the trash / deleted folder.) Mail readers can also auto-save drafts and outgoing (SMTP) emails so you have a copy should you need it.

In short, if you're unhappy with web email (I *rarely* use it myself) then I strongly suggest learning how to use an email reader program. They're simple (basically) -- if you can log onto a computer you can set up an email account-- and they avoid a LOT of hassle (unless you're paranoid about people gaining access to your physical hard drive.)

Sort messages in gmail by sender's name?

Hi,

One feature, I often miss in Gmail is its ability to sort messages. By default, Gmail sorts mails by date, which doesn't do a great job in organizing your inbox. There is no facility to sort mails by name, subject, size and sender. Consider this scenario where sorting of mails can be very useful : You were on vacation and on returning found thousands of unread mails, and now you want to see only the unread messages by your boss between the specific dates.

Thanks.

1. I'd like to change the setting so that the most recent email messages are on top of the list (rather than the bottom) 2. Instead of having 25 or 50 email messages per page, I'm getting the whole list...

Hello EM,

From your main Yahoo! Mail window:

1) Click "Options" > Select "Mail Options"

2) Click Accounts > Highlight the account you wish to change

3) Click "Edit" button

Under Folders heading find:

Message ordering: Put dot in "Descending by date" - your new messages will appear at the top

Messages per page: Choose 10, 25, 50 etc.

Change any other options to your liking, then click the "Save" button in the upper left or lower left corner.

I hope you found this information helpful!
