DOES NOT WORK

SINCE THE DAY I STARTED IT NEVER WORKED. CAN I RETURN IT AND HAVE A NEW ONE? I DO NOT HAVE A STORE RECEIPT. I BELIEVE I BOUGHT IT ON SALE AT SAM'S CLUB.

Definitely you must claim for the refund or the service warranty on your set from the people you have bought this from. But first of all please check if you have placed the batteries in the right direction to get teh display, if so have you inserted the disc correctly , a good one, and checked if it played. if it turns and stops clean the head and try. if not you must proceed to get your claim. good luck good day

Returning an item


well Hello Susan:

depends on where you bought the item from. If you still have the receipt of the item and it has not been more than 15 days should be able to return the item back get the full price back....back on your card or cash if you paid it in cash. Now like i said it all depends on where you bought it, some places might say 30 days from date of purchase... but you have to have the receipt but if not they might give you in store credit... but always call the place where you bought it to verify it to make sure. you also make sure you have the boxes or package it came in too to give back to them of the item. ooooh yes some places might even charge you for restocking fee for the item return too. so that is why said to call company or business what is there return policy. i hope this helps you. :)

I bought a water hose in June and forgot all about it. As we were cleaning out the garage we found the pocket garden hose still in the box. I found the receipt and tried to bring it back to Walmart


Return policy is set by the store. It can be anything they decide it should be. If they publish "90 day return" only, then that's the policy, and you may be stuck with your item. There are no laws about returns, only individual store policies.

I purchased two toothbrushes type 52653 from my local Aldi store and both now will not charge and refuse to work. I have lost my receipt but you will have records of when you old the item


This is not the Aldi site, so no one here will have receipts of your purchases.
Aldi only allows returns within 30 days, and usually will not accept a return if you do not have the receipt. You could contact the manufacturer, but you may just need new batteries.

Please read the back of your receipt.
I believe you have something like 15 or 30 days to return this type of item.

They have a fantastic return policy as long as you have the receipt, and make sure the stuff is back in the original box, and all the accessories are with it.

As soon as you walk in, a nice smiling lady will place a sticker on the item and point you to the Returns Desk.

That's it.

You will be refunded in the same manner you paid for it.

NB. Don't complain, and don't get too eager giving out unsolicited information.
When asked why you're returning it, answer: I does not work.
If asked what doen't work, answer: The brushes don't move or watever short answer is appropriate.

Lexmark printer model Z2300m color printer. purchased 2 days ago, took out of box and the power does not come on. i miss placed receipt, so i cant return


its hard to diagnose power issues. try another outlet and see if it works. If you truely bought it 2 days ago, ANY store will allow you to exchange for another one whether you have a receipt or not. The only reason I know that, is because I have worked retail many years in the past and have never heard of place not letting you exchange for the same item. Unless, you bought it a garage sale or something similar.

Can not break through dial tone on either hand set


After going around and around and around with YOU people, I finally gave up and took the damned phone back to the store where I bought it. The first store wouldn't take it back, because I had the receipt (which was from early September, 2008 - which was past the 90 days), so I took it to their other location and told them that I lost the receipt. I got a brand new replacement. If the new one should fail to work, I'll take it back again WITHOUT the receipt, and upgrade to another brand. Thanks anyway.

How did you pay for the heater? Cash, credit card, or check? What store did you buy it from?

If you paid by credit card, some stores can look the purchase up. Some stores will accept returns for an equal exchange based on lookup of the charge.
If by check, you can get a copy of the canceled check from your bank. Take the copy with the heater to the store that you bought it, and they will likely allow an exchange.

If you paid by cash, you can contact the manufacturer, and he will ask you for the date code or serial number of the unit (he will tell you where to look). You can then discuss with them how to proceed to have the unit repaired or replaced.
