I have repaired hundreds of pressure washer pumps.( Winterizing)Always tip up pressure washer to get out most of the water. Then purchase pump armor. This is like anti-freeze.If not available use light weight oil.(mineral oil is o.k.Tip back washer and pour a little in.Then pull motor start cord a couple of times and your safe for the winter.

Im currious what on a pressure washer required "cleaning" what were you running thru it other than water ?

You either have a big leak somewhere or, more likely, have a problem with the reed valves in the head or the piston/cylinder is damaged. You can take the head apart to check the valves and piston/cylinder assembly. Parts you may need are the valve plate assembly, Part#WL211201AJ, Piston/Cylinder assembly, Part#WL211000AJ or the entire motor/pump assembly, Part#WL212000SJ.

Hello sir, that is a on going problem with power washers the pump not working, than works sporadically. the main cause is leaving the pressure hose hooked up to the machine over a long period of time, not draining hose & machine, in the winter time the hose & pump will freeze causing hose & pump to expand and burst.handle to leak busting the o rings, build up of calcium deposits from hard water clogging up pump nozzle, valves in the gun handle, clogging hose fittings and screens.one of these has to be your problem.you can find a parts brake down at KARCHER.COM.orRJ BOWERS.COM . and manuals, these are good info, sites, hope this helps.thankyou. !!

Oil leaking from within body of washer after half hours use and after switching off.. Oil is clean.

This is noticed on the Karcher washer and does not need any attention unless you are having a large spill over or leak. The oil oozes out when the pressure washer works for some time and is a result of a pressure leak when the washer is used for sometime.
I had seen this happen on mine for sometime , checked on all sides for any damage but there was none. So ignored but cleaned off the leak and was not seen then.
