Question about Car Audio & Video
Thanks for using FixYa. The parking brake wire has to connect to ground when the switch is in one position and connect to nothing when the switch is in the other position. You may also disconnect the positive wire from the switch. If not, leave the positive wire off and try the remaining two wires, ground wire and parking brake wire, on different prongs of the switch. Connect the ground wire and the parking brake to get pictures.
If still the issue is not resolved, then bypass the parking brake function in the menu and do not connect that wire. Follow the step-by-step parking brake bypass procedure---
First please select AM/FM mode and press "setup" on the remote control. Now enter 543210 on the remote. Note the beep for each entered numbers. New menu will appear. Now press hammer/screwdriver button and select brake bypass to "on" and hit the "x" near the bottom of the screen. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
