Try resetting the drivers. Right click "My Computer" select "manage" then find the camera in the device manager. Oce found right click and choose "uninstall", note unless you have the drivers for a reinstall do not check "Delete the driver software". Rerun a hardware scan and see if that fixes the driver issues. If not uninstall and remove the files and download the proper drivers from the manufacturers website.

The sound on my toshiba satellite c655 s5068 laptop does not work after sleeping.

You may try this; Turn OFF the laptop, remove the power sources (ac adapter and battery). Without power sources, hold power button 10 secs. Put back the power sources, and power ON the NB. If same thing happened, uninstall and reinstall the audio driver. Go to start/type device manager in search box/click sound video and game controller/uninstall the audio driver and restart the laptop to take effect. Once the laptop booted up wait for the message that the device driver is successfully installed or check if the audio driver is back in the device manager. Then test the sound.

.pgI lost my sound from

Hello,

Please make sure that the sound is not in mute. If it's unmute and still has no sound, try to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver. Drivers are located in device manager. Simply type device manager on the search box to find it. In the device manager, expand the sound video and game controller category, usually the audio driver is the realtek high definition audio driver or smart audio. Uninstall the driver and restart the laptop to take effect the changes. Restarting the laptop will automatically reinstall the audio driver. Test the sound.

Hope this works.

My pc does not regonize my sony digital media player model nwz-e438f

Hi there

Remove the MP3 player, wait at least 10 seconds and plug it back in. Do this multiple times. It may connect after a couple of tries. If not, continue by opening the device manager.

Open the Start menu search box and type "Device Manager." Chose it from the list of available options.

Locate the device by searching for a yellow exclamation point. If you do not see it, click to expand "Universal Serial Bus Controllers."

Choose the player from the list and right-click it.

Click "Uninstall." Click "OK" to restart when prompted. If there is no change, try again, this time placing a check by "Delete the driver software for this device." This option might require you to reinstall the drivers, so don't try this unless you have the disc handy.

Plug in the media player after the restart. You should see a message stating the device is connected and ready to use. If this fails, visit the website for the manufacturer of the MP3 player to see if there is a firmware or driver update. Install the update according to the instructions and the player will work.

My sound from my laptop turned scratchy

Try using an external speaker or headset. If the the scratchy issue does not happen again then its your internal speaker. If the issue persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling your Audio Driver. Make sure that you have the disc that came with your computer for reinstallation of the audio driver.

If you have Windows XP:

[Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs] to see if there is a dedicated removal program and if so use it.

More likely you'll have to go to [Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers > (Your sound card) > Driver > Uninstall], a reboot will almost certainly be required.

If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 follow this:

1. Open the Control Panel (Classic View).

2. Click on the Device Manager icon.

3. Click on Continue in the UAC prompt.

4. Click on the + sign next to the device you want to uninstall to expand it. (See screenshot below step 5)

5. Right click on the listed device and click on Properties.
NOTE: You can also click on Uninstall and go to step 8 instead.5439d1232212816t-uninstall-device-device-driver-device_manager.jpg
6. Click on the Driver tab. (See screenshot below step 7)

7. Click on the Uninstall button. 5440d1232212816t-uninstall-device-device-driver-properties.jpg
8. To Uninstall Only the Device -
NOTE: This will only uninstall the device and leave the device driver still installed for the device.A) Uncheck the Delete the driver software for this device box. (See screenshot below step 9)
NOTE: If you do not have this option, then only the device will be uninstalled. Go to step 10.

B) Click on OK.
NOTE: Sometimes, you may be prompted to restart the computer to finish uninstalling the driver. If you do, then click on Yes to restart the computer.

B) Go to step 10.
9. To Uninstall the Device and Device Driver -
NOTE: This will uninstall both the device and device driver software installed for the device. A) Check the Delete the driver software for this device box.
NOTE: If you do not have this option, then only the device will be uninstalled. Go to step 10.

B) Click on OK.
NOTE: Sometimes, you may be prompted to restart the computer to finish uninstalling the driver. If you do, then click on Yes to restart the computer.

10. Device Manager will now no longer have the device listed. (See screenshot below)5442d1232212816t-uninstall-device-device-driver-device_manager_uninstalled.jpg
11. Close Device Manager. (See screenshot below step 5)

Restart your computer. Once the computer restarts, it will automatically detect your hardware. Or you can manually install the driver that came with your computer

Wont sync to my computer and the computer will not recunize it how do i fix this

Go into the control panel, click on system, then device manager and then search the list and see if any red or yellow exclamation marks are present. If none are than unplug all your USB cables going to the computer. Next open up Universal Serial Controllers and uninstall all the devices listed, close the open windows and shutdown the computer, wait 10 seconds after complete shutdown and turn computer back on. Let windows boot completly up and it will reinstall all the USB drivers again and probaly have you reboot the system. After it boots back up install your software to your player, after installed than plug your player in and it should work. If it works OK than plug the USB devices you unplugged earlier back up 1 at a time, windows will detect it and load the required drivers again for each device you plug in. After all your devices are re-installed do a shutdown, wait 10 seconds and reboot. Everything should work normally now.

Maxtor 3200 error code 10

To uninstall a device
  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Double-click the type of device that you want to uninstall.
  3. Right-click the specific device you want, and then click Uninstall. You can also double-click the device, and then on the Driver tab, click Uninstall.
  4. In the Confirm Device Removal page, select Delete the driver software for this device if you also want to remove the device driver package from the driver store. .
The Delete the driver software for this device option removes the package from the driver store. It does not remove the currently installed driver for any other operational devices that use the same driver. If you remove the driver from the store, and the device is connected to the computer again, Windows must search for a copy of the driver package in the standard search locations, including possibly prompting the user for media. This option is the equivalent of running the command: pnputil -d -f <package.inf>. For more information, see Remove a Driver Package from the Driver Store.
  5. Click OK to complete the uninstall process.
  6. When the uninstall process is complete, unplug the device from the computer.
If you are prompted to restart the computer, the removal is not completed and the device might continue to function until the computer is restarted.
Reinstall a Plug and Play device Reinstall a device only if it is working improperly or it has stopped working altogether. Before you reinstall a device, try to restart your computer and check the device to determine whether it is functioning properly. If it is not, try reinstalling the device.
To reinstall a Plug and Play device
  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Follow the instructions in the preceding procedure to uninstall the device.
  3. If you are prompted to restart the computer, follow these steps:
    • Plug in the device and then restart the computer. The device will be detected and reinstalled after Windows restarts.
    • Follow any instructions on-screen to complete installation.
  4. If you are not prompted to restart the computer, follow these steps:
    • In Device Manager, in the Action menu, click Scan for hardware changes.
    • Follow the instructions on the screen.

Assuming your camera works with some other software or online application the problem is probably AIM...uninstall and reinstall AIM. If it does not work with other software go to device manager in Windows and make sure the device is listed without an exclamation mark next to it. If there is one reinstall the driver. If any of this is not clear....bug me. 80% chance one of the above should solve the problem. Tango...
