Typically, plug the USB cable into the Camera and the computer. You may have to turn on the camera, but the computer should recognize the camera and show a new drive available, similar to a jump drive.
Open that, in likely search the folders for the files.

Import photos from Fuji 460 to computer

Transferring digital photos from your camera is necessary to clear your memory card. Adobe Photoshop Elements makes downloading photographs easy, or you can import pictures to your computer with Windows. Then you can make prints, copy photos to a CD or DVD, and share them online.

Every image taken with my Samsung D1070 is overexposed.

Hi there:
Some symptoms of a defective CCD include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

A CCD problem would explain the lines on your pictures and the lines on the LCD (since the CCD is used to feed the live image). CCD (Charge Coupled Device) is one of the two main types of image sensors used in digital cameras.

When a picture is taken, the CCD is struck by light coming through the camera's lens. Each of the thousands or millions of tiny pixels that make up the CCD convert this light into electrons. The number of electrons, usually described as the pixel's accumulated charge, is measured, then converted to a digital value. This last step occurs outside the CCD, in a camera component called an analog-to-digital converter.

In order to correct this issue, the repair facility needs to replace the CCD. This is not something you may do on your own; check this article for additional details:Bad CCDs. This, isn't a good new, but hope helps to solve it.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

When I take a picture the photo comes out white with streaks on my Samsung D1070. thanks

The problem is usually a bad or deteriorating CCD.

You can take it to a camera repair depot in your area. I'm sure the technician will tell you right away and no charge.

Not able to download disk on to comp

Do you mean you have connected your camera to the computer with the USB cable, but the photographs can't be transferred to the computer?
Then try one of the following solutions:

1) Go to My Computer > Select the photo camera device > Right click > Explore > Copy all files (photographs) as from any normal folder.
2) Take out your SD memory card, put it the USB card reader: http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=516872 If you have a modern laptop - it will have a special card reader slot. Go to My Computer > Select the SD card > Right click > Explore > Copy all files (photographs) as from any normal folder.
3) Try Picasa (picasa.google.com), install, run and go to File > Import to get pictures with this program.

Lense is coming out but screen is not turning on.

I searched for samsung.com's listing of the d1070 but found nothing.

I would check the batteries again, maybe use Li ion batteries which have higher voltage if available for your camera.

Computer won't read camera or card

Do you have a suitable photographic program to view your photos installed such as Photoshop,Picture viewer or something? Have you installed any software onto your pc which was supplied with the camera? There is probablyl a compatible program supplied in this. Do not reformat unless you are prepared to lose your photos! Get a spare memory card to experiment with-one with no important photos on it! Make sure you install any camera software onto your pc.
