SOURCE: Garmin Communicator Plug-in Garmin Nuvi 360

I found it now, Have you tried downloading and isntalling the latest drivers off of the garmin site or located here.
Make sure you have the latest drivers for your computer. Also make sure you have all firewalls turned off. Just to make sure that is not the cause.
Keep me posted,

SOURCE: Garmin Nuvi 205 Problems aquiring stellite

usually gps are automatically sensing the signal, with clear view without and sometime even with minimal obstruction like trees windows etc. there is no other way your gps could not acquire signal unles it is having a problem .

all gps thesedays have 10-20 meter accuracy, it is only a receiver, this model particularly have the highest signal.

in other words i suggest you reset your unit from the bottom and see if there is any improvement, replace the unit

cheers

SOURCE: Garmin Nuvi 360 - Acquiring Satellites

I had a problem with my Nuvi 360 that it couldn't find the satellites. I couldn't solve the problem with resets or updated software, but a new, external antenna that plugs into the side of the folding antenna seems to have solved the problem. Available from Wireless Finest through Amazon.com - like $11.50. Great solution - can't beat the price.

SOURCE: My garmin nuvi 360 goes in simulated driving mode

if you recently plotted a course and used the simulation mode, it will stay there either till you deactivate it, or you arrive at the destination. go to the simulation mode and see if its in simulation, if so, stop it.

Nuvi 200w will not pick up sattalites

Make sure you are outside and as much in the open as possible. Staying stationary is the best way to insure a satellite signal. Give your GPS a few minutes if necessary to pick up a satellite signal. Also remember poor weather can effect a satellite signal reaching your GPS, just like it will satellite TV.

My garmin nuvi 360 says "updatin ps software 0%" on start up and then won't be able to acquire satellites

This indicates that there is a problem with the flip-up antenna/GPS receiver assembly and there is no communication between the main board and the GPS receiver IC. When this happens, you won't be able to pick up satellite reception.

The main board is trying to upload a fresh copy of the GPS firmware stored on your Nuvi but it fails because of the problem in the GPS receiver assembly.
