Screen freezes on start up power off,power on freezes again .whats the problem ?

    i have a medion notebook mim2210 ,with windows vista home 32 ,medion suggested to much software installed and to return to factory settings,which ive done severel times,but my screen still freezes mid session and stays frozen until switch power off,when switched on again the screen freezes mid session again,im now told its a fault in the motherboard,which seem to be unavailable, suggesting they seldom go wrong.regards j a ball ,johnabcd@tiscali.co.uk

Hi ,

This happens when a startup program is is corrupt or is not responding.It can also be that a hardware is gone corrupt that is making the computer freeze.To correct the problem please follow the trobleshooting steps listed below.

Disconnet any external devices that you have added after you bought the notebook like usb devices ,printer etc.Then turn the computer on and see if the computer freezes or not .If it does not freeze then it means that there is an external device that is causing the problem and to find it out you need to connect one device at a time and check .

U can also do this .Turn the computer off completely and then when you turn the computer on keep on tapping the F8 key till it loads the advance boot menu page then select safe mode just plain safe mode and hit the enter key .Wait till it loads the the log on screen then select administrator.It will take you to the desktop and check if the computer freezes or not .If it doesn't then it means that there is a program that is causing the computer to freeze.Go to start?run ?type in msconfig?enter?click on the startup tab ?click on disable all?apply ?select the services tab?click on disable all ?apply ?click on ok or close to exit from the page and then select restart when it prompts you to .When it is booting up to the normal mode check if the computer freezes.Then you will have to find the program that is causing the computer to freeze.To do this first enable all the startup program and then check if it doesnt then its a program under services that is corrupt .S o select one or more program restart and check so this way you will have to isolate the program and then just leave that program unchecked.

I get a loud hum and the screen freezes, I have to reboot system to gain control again, what can the problem be...lch


Check to see that all fans are running, sound like an overheating problem that could be anywhere, from the power supply, video card to the CPU. Also can you figure out where the humming is coming from? Is it from the case somewhere or out of your speakers? C'mon....inquiring minds demand more details!!!

My is get freeze, when people call you, you cannot take their call. and the entire screen go black. then you have to turn the phone off and start again

From the question you wrote, it means that the phone has two problems to be solved:

The freezing of the phone,
and
the black screen display.

What causes a phone to freeze is when the memory of the phone has tampered and has allowed the phone to have memory loss and it will need to be restored for the phone to function normal again.

It can be restored by flashing the phone to restore the memory back.

The black screen is caused when the flex that connects the board of the phone to the front board that enable the screen to be able to display is damaged, it makes the screen of the phone go black.
And it needs to be replaced for it to be able to display again.

After fixing the problem of the phone, the phone will start working properly again.

try clearing up your web history, sms, or unwanted software....on the browser, click on blazer top left corner, click on history and clear all..tested if it doesnt work back up your phone and perform a master reset

Flip Video Mino keeps freezing up, can't shut down or upload


At least the following works on my first generation Flip Ultra camcorder (not Mino). Remove battery, put it back next morning. After that be careful not to touch "on" slider switch on the side of the camcorder while Flip logo is still on the screen. I mean turn the device on by using the slider switch and do not touch that switch again until Flip logo on the screen is gone. Doing the opposite (trying to use the "on" switch again while device is still "booting" and Flip logo is on the screen) will lead to the Flip Ultra freeze.

it will happen in two ways

As you get ther red ring for no reason,its the problem with the console's gettin heatin up.
2nd if your power supply is not stable..i mean UP and DOWN..try use a ups...so i may help else get that to microsoft.

whenever your doing a cd recovery you need to remove the battery
use ac power
if its still freezing up you'll have to run windows again
Windows uses a lot of power to install

T-Mobile Wing Freezes & Restarts while texting


you can try to restart the phone. The only problem with that is that everything you have saved on ur phone gets deleted unless its on a memory card. What you have to do is turn off your phone then wait a couple of seconds then hold the power button along with the to line buttons by the green phone and the end call button. After you hold them down you wiil see a screen that will have some writing when that shows up you press the green phone button. After that it will restart but its going to take a while for it to restart. then when its done deleting everything its going to ask you to tap the screen the its going to ask you to do the align screen. you can skip the rest after you skip it the pocket pc page will come up and it will show you its installing everything when its done it will turn off and start up again. and there you go like new. if that doesnt help the you should go get it checked out..
