Open your browser and type in 192.168.1.1 and press enter. It will open configuration page. Type Admin as user ID and again admin as password. or admin as user ID and password as password. Now start configuring the router by pressing "Quick Setup" option.

You need to turn off first or disconnect LAN connection which is the cable connection before you can use the wireless connection. After that go control panel you need to setup internet connection and be sure to configure the IP address to automatic which the DHCP mode configuration then restart. That's it. Have nice day!

Linksys has a slim Web server built into their routers and a nice little Web based configuration management interface. You can configure your router to pass or filter IP multicast. Most of the Linksys routers have a filter configuration page where you simply check to filter/pass multicast traffic. As for the VoIP/Teleplhony trafic, you should select one of the routers that allows Quality of Service (QoS) - only some routers support this. The QoS router may recognize the voice traffic automatically but at most you would have to specify the applicaation/ports to give priority to. Again, all is done easily via the Web based management utiility - no CLI needed.

typically you unplug the router and wait several seconds. Then, you hold in the reset button while reconnecting the power adapter. Continue holding the reset button for 10seconds and then release and connect it to your computer. Then proceed with configuration; if that doesn't work, repeat the steps but hold the button for 20seconds. I hope this helps.
