Hi,

If you wish to record a video clip using the webcam, you will have to use the Windows Movie Maker program.

Open the Windows Movie maker by clicking the Start button, then select All Programs and click on Windows Movie Maker.

In the Movie Maker window, click on "Capture from Video Device" and then click Next. From the next dialog boxes, select the File Name and Video quality settings and then click on "Start Capture" button. To stop/end the video capture, click on Finish button.

Once you have created the video file, you can upload the file to ww.Youtube.com and then embed it on your website by copying and pasting the video embed code on your website.

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How to put embeded videos on websites

An "embedded" video means it is part of a Web page display rather than just a hyperlink that visitors click on to load the media in another window.

This is an ideal setup if you don't want viewers to leave your website to benefit from the video.
By using a few lines of HyperText Markup Language (HTML), you can embed a video from a sharing site like You Tube or insert your own file onto your website.

Click on the desired video image and copy the code found in the "Embed" section.
(If you do not see an "Embed" area, it means that the video maker does not want the file to be redistributed. You'll need to find another video).

Launch the HTML text editor and open the website page(s) where you want to embed the video. Navigate to your code window, position your cursor in the area where you want to add the movie and paste in the code.

Preview the page to make sure the video displays correctly.
Save the file.

Place the file on your Web host.

Embed Your Own Video

Place your video file, such as Windows Media Video (WMV), on your Web host in the same directory that houses your website files.

Make a note of the location so you can properly insert it on your page.
Launch the HTML text editor, open the desired website page and position your cursor in the code window where you want the video to display.

Enter the HTML "<embed>" code and specify a "type" that identifies what kind of video you have and a "src" that names the address of the file from step one. For example, the code to enter a Flash movie would look like this: < embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.yourdomain.com/video.swf" />

Preview the page to make sure the video displays correctly and then save your document.

Add the document to your Web host.
Embed a Video With HTML on My Website

Embedding video into your website with HTML allows your viewers, readers, or customers to watch a video without downloading it first.

A user could simultaneously read your copy while listening to or watching the embedded video. You can embed a video with HTML using Notepad or your preferred web editor.

Click "Start" and type "notepad" and then press "Enter."
Click "File," and then "Open."

Click the "File Type" drop-down menu and select "All Files and Folders" from the list of options. Locate your HTML file you want to embed the video into, select it and click "Open."

Scroll to the point where you want to embed the video.
Type the following in to the empty space:

<embed src="http://url.com/yourvideo.mpg" autostart="false" />
Replace "url.com" with the address of your video and "yourvideo.mpg" with the file name and extension of your video that you want to embed.

Change "false" to "true" if you want the video to automatically begin.
Close Notepad, and click "Save" when prompted. Upload the HTML page and you will have embedded video into the HTML of the site.

Mac Keynote Video Converter-Split and Join TM90 1080/60p AVCHD MTS to Keynote...

Convert/Join Panasonic HDC-TM90 HD Videos on Keynote for Presentation-AVCHD MTS to MOV <br />Embed/Store Converted/Joined H.264 mov Videos to Keynote '09-Mac TM90 MTS to Keynote Converter <br /><br />I had recorded some .mts videos using Panasonic HDC-TM90 as part of research. I used Keynote to make presentation. I would like to insert the <b>Panasonic TM90 <a href="http://www.aunsoft.com/final-mate-mac/">HD Videos on Keynote for Presentation</a></b>. However, the resulting HD videos are in AVCHD .mts files which could not be imported to Keynote. With the 1080/60p recording mode, the videos play great on the TM90 camcorder, however, Mac keynote is not compatible with this format, not even iMovie, Final Cut or others. <br /><br />While looking for a solution to add recorded AVCHD videos to Keynote, Aunsoft <b>Final Mate for Mac-<a href="http://www.aunsoft.com/final-mate-mac/">Best Mac MTS to Keynote Converter</a></b> is recommended as the partner to <b>Panasonic TM90 MTS for Keynote presentation</b>. It helps easily creating a vivid slideshow presentation with HD videos by converting AVCHD video to HD MOV. <br /><br />Below is the quick guide to <b>Embed Panasonic HDC-TM90 AVCHD MTS 1920*1080P videos to a presentation created with Keynote</b>. <br /><br />Step 1: <b>Import/Capture Panasonic TM90 Camcorder AVCHD files to Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac</b>. <br />Free Download Final Mate for Mac as a <b><a href="http://canon-videoconverter.com/2011/06/convertjoin-panasonic-hdc-tm90-hd-videos-on-keynote-for-presentation-avchd-mts-to-mov/">Mac Keynote Video Converter</a></b>.When Aunsoft <b>Final Mate for Mac</b> is run, it can automatically detect and pop up a wizard for you to capture video from camcorder. The videos would be listed on the "Camcorder" tab. <br /><br />Step 2: Create a Movie for <b>converting TM90 1080/60p MTS files to MOV for Keynote</b>. <br />Just select one or multiple mts video files you would like to convert, cut from the Camcorder tab and then drag and drop them to Movie tab. In this way, a Movie for conversion will be created. <br /><br />Step 3: <b>Splitting and Joining .mts Clips for Keynote on Timeline</b>. <br />To cut/trim the video, just play it and click the Split button when it plays to the frame you want, and then click the" Delete" button next to the "Split" button to remove the unwanted .mts clips. As Final Mate for Mac is frame-accurate cutter, you can also pause the video, and click the Previous Frame or Next Frame for the exact frame you want to cut. <br /><br />To "join" another clip to the end of the movie, just select the file, drag and drop to the movie ID. The files will be joined into one file as output. <br /><br />Step 4: <b>Export H.264 MOV video file for Keynote</b>. <br />Click the Export button and choose HD MOV as output format. How to edit Media Center Recordings

Easiest FREE way I've found to edit Recordings made in Windows Media Center is done using Windows Live Movie Maker (Part of the Windows Live Essentials Free Downloads)
I have found that there is some technique involved in making successful edits of the recording.
  1. Open the recording you want to edit in Movie Maker, click save and name the save file what you wish (This file just stores your edit markers and makes no changes to the original recording)
  2. Since most recordings have some overlap, you first need to find the actual beginning and end of the recording, under tools, mark the start and end points using the buttons labeled as such. Click SAVE
  3. Editing the commercials is done in a similiar manner. Browse thru the recording to the start point of the commercial, under tools, click the SPLIT button, then browse to the end of the commercial segment, click split again. (This separates a the commercial portion from the rest of the recording) Right click the commercial segment, Click Delete on the drop down menu and that commercial is deleted (Note the run time is adjusted to the removal point) Click save and repeat on all other commercials.
  4. Once editing is complete, you should have about 22 minutes for a half hour show or 43 minutes for an hour show. Click Save
  5. Here is where I drove myself crazy till I learned the trick. Once edits are saved, CLOSE movie Maker. I don't know exactly why, but I spent a week learning that no matter what I did, 90% of the time when I tried to create movie, movie maker would LOCK UP. Trial and error eventually proved that if I made my edits, then Saved and closed Movie Maker. The re-opened Movie Maker and opened the edit file, that I could then Create Movie successfully every attempt. Click File, Create Movie, and choose your format. (I use widescreen) Saving process is slow, about the length of the show or 1% per minute. This creates a .WMV file about 1/3 the size of the original.
  6. If you want to compress the file even more you can use an encoder to convert the file from WMV to a compressed format (I prefer AVI) I use SUPER © from Erightsoft.com

Archiving Digital Camcorder Video - Ideal Formats

Let's try to bottomline this. If you want said DVD to play in most players, you'll be encoding the video according to standards. The current DVD is MPEG2. At the current time, most people just have DV camcorders so you don't see the generational loss as you move the video from DV to DVD. At least I don't.

Embed audio notes

Since the C-5500 has audio recording capability it is possible to record brief audio notes, which become an embedded part of the image file. Open the MODE MENU and select the CAMERA tab. Toggle right to enter the CAMERA sub-menu and toggle down until you have selected the microphone icon, using the OK/MENU button. Then toggle right, select ON and press the OK/MENU button twice. The sound recording function is now enabled. About .5 seconds after the shutter is released the 4 second recording period will begin recording. You will need to point the microphone on the front of the camera toward the sound source. You can also record and record over audio notes on photos already taken. In the PLAYBACK Mode open the MODE MENU, select the PLAY tab and then select START. Pressing the OK/MENU button will start the 4 second recording period.
