Question about Vacuums

1 Answer

The KP1010 was at rest all winter long. It has worked beautifully before this. It is now working but we can't stop it from brewing. It works but it delivers the water at the rapid cycle. We have water all over the place. Is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like the flow meter is stuck open, letting water keep running. Go to www.krupsusa.com. Then to parts, then pick your model number, this will give you all parts for you machine. Also click on schematics and it will give you a breakdown for your machine and where all parts are located. First see if you can try and take flow meter apart, maybe it can be cleaned.

Power nozzle does not work. Light comes on on power nozzle but it does not vacuum

Many early version PN-2E power nozzles have reset buttons that are becoming faulty. The factory stopped adding the rest button to this model power nozzle so you can update your unit by removing and this my solve your issue. You have the trigger to stop the motor if you have an issue so the rest button has become unnecessary.

Problem is you can have the maker plugged in but you can't manually brew the coffee. The switch will not engage to brew the coffee. Stainless Steel, Programmable Cuisinart CUI DCC 2000 model.

I have this model.

I'm not sure if you mean if it won't brew manually or not at all.

Ours failed because the thermistor failed due to the fact that the heater element was badly calcified (calcium deposits). It would come on for a bit, then stop brewing... then it just stopped altogether. I replaced the two thermistors that are in series and it works fine.

The bad news: Cuisinart cruelly used security screws to thwart repairs. The screws are on the bottom and deeply recessed. Thus aside, this coffeemaker is a bugger to dismantle but it can be done after you remove the screws.

Being that I had nothing to lose, I drilled these out and replaced them later.

Hoover Vacuum works, then stops in 3-5 mins. Works again in a couple of hours

sounds like the motor is overheating .check and see if the brush roller is turning when its on.if its hard to turn or won't turn at all take it back where you bought it and insist on a new one.my thoughts on new items is if you buy something new then it shouldn't have to be fixed.insist on it.please leave feedback...pete

have you examined the hose to see if it is plugged. take a broom handle and gently push it thru the hose if it doesn't have bends in it.

Premalite vac brush stopped turning

Not familiar with thi sbrand, but a reset is for when the brushes get jammed pr stalled, it will trip the reset. Make sure that the brsuh roll turns easily, also for a broken belt and/or bad brush roll. Some resets are for when the vac motor over heats, it will trip saving the motor. Usually this is for a jammed brush roll or a clog.
