Question about Maytag MZD2766GES Side by Side Refrigerator
My frig side isnt cooling and now the freezer side isnt cold enough to make ice, seems to be cold on bottom and not on top where ice is. I emptied the freezer yesterday and found there was alot of frost on the bottom back wall of the freezer, melted it and as the day went on it seemed to get a little colder. I turned it to mid on the temp which made it not quite as cold but the frig side is only about 60 i am not sure what they should be, yester day it was 72 now the freezer is empty and more frost is building up again. I would appreciate any suggestion you can give. 2 weeks ago the frig was not cold and I found frost in the top by the ice maker and defrosted it and it worked great for about a week. I hope I have been descriptive enough.
Dear Krazytech, I just did what you said and the frig is cooling great and the freezer is freezing! I am so happy, Waht makes this happen? I emptied the resivoir under the frig, It was really full! So do you think it is safe to put things back in the frig? What should the normal temps be for both sides? I have a temp gun LOL that is the only thing I have to use to tell temp. In one hour this morning it started dropping dramitic so it is blowing on the frig side real good. Thanks for your help!
