SOURCE: Kohler Fairfax single control kitchen sink faucet

Remove the air-irater at the end of the faucet where the water comes out. That is where 99% of clog are on faucets. If that does not do it then you need to replace the cartridge.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs up for the free answer.

SOURCE: brand new kohler cruette. attached cold and hot water fine. when snapping in the pull out faucet hose it sprays all over under the sink

Hi rysenga, the problem is an omission of directions. The section 9 directions are the worst offender and left me never again to purchase a Kohler product. First, this connection for the pull out hose to the outlet fitting should have been a screw on connection. Should have been. Ok it was not, I'll get over it. But the directions never mention having to install the white plastic bushing. Not at all. Nor does it mention that the bushing should be put on the outlet first and then push the hose connection in. This omission is a huge one, but should help anyone else reading this complete the install. Find the oval lip white bushing and install this first on the body, and then just push the connector in. Done.

How do i remove a single handle kitchen faucet

There is typically a cover plate that needs to be pried off. Under it you will find a screw that needs to be removed. Other types use a set-screw that would be visible at the base of the handle.

How do you remove the lever of a kitchen kohler clairette faucet, it seems to be stuck

On the front of the faucet handle, there is a small plastic cover with an emblem on it. Gently pry it off with a sharp knife blade. Next you will notice a small "allen" screw head. Remove it by turning it counter clockwise until it's loose. (lefty loosie - righty tighty) Lift the handle straight up to remove.

MOEN Motionsense Faucet Leaking????

Turn off the water valves beneath the sink. Cover the openings to both the drain and the garbage disposal. Use an allen wrench to remove the tiny screw holding the handle in place. Once the handle is removed, the leaking is most likely from the seams around the large plastic nut behind the metal-like plastic cover. You might be able to see water dripping from around the big nut. Remove the nut and wrap nylon plumber's tape (Costs probably around a buck at any hardware supply store) around the threads for a much better seal. Wrap the tape tight at least a couple of times around the threads.
Screw the nut back into place with your hand, then tighten with a wrench.

Place the cover back over the assembly, install the handle. You can apply clear nail polish on the threads of the tiny allen screw that holds the handle in place to minimize the risk of it coming loose and falling into your garbage disposal.

Want to switch the side the door opens on my lg dryer

The directions for reversing the door can be found on page 13 and 14, with pictures of the operation. Open the door to reverse. Check the 10 screws that need to be removed (6 on the left, 4 on the right). Remove 4 dummy screws with a screwdriver. Remove the two screws from, and disassemble, the latch. Hold on to the hinge while removing 4 screws from the hinge (to prevent the door from dropping). Remove the door from the cabinet cover. Move the door to the left side and insert a hinge into a hinge hole. Hold on to the hinge while screwing down the hinge (to prevent the door from dropping). Insert the latch to the right side and install the screws. Screw down the 4 dummy screws to the right side. Check that the door closes and latches properly.

AV-56WP30 sound cuts out after about 10 minutes after turning the TV on. any ideas?

Hello
The audio output IC has some troube with it. if it overheat, the fault you describes here will coccur. Normally audio output IC will be screwed on to a metal heat sink to radiate heat away from it while working. If the screw that holds the IC to heatsink get loose, proper heat radiation won't take place, IC will overheat with time and will shut OFF by itself. Check the screw first. Resoder all the soldeer terminals of that IC, by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge in between the adjecent solder terminals. This process will eliminate if there is any loose soldering junctions to the terminals of that IC. If these does not help you, replace that IC with same type and number. OK.

How do you replace?

Kitchen hood replacement can be completed easily with a family member or a friend. While you may wonder why anyone would replace a kitchen hood, the answer usually is simple. Here is how to replace a kitchen hood.
Tools Needed

  • New Range/Kitchen Hood
  • Screws
  • Screwdriver
  • Friend
  • Wiring Nuts
  • Circuit Tester

Warning: Remember that you are dealing with electricity, so stay away from water and use all safety precautions issued by the manufacturer.
Step 1 - Shut off Electricity

Remember to turn off the electrical supply to the old kitchen hood. You will need to do this via the circuit breaker box. Wait for 10 to 20 minutes and then test the wires with the circuit tester to double check that no electricity is being supplied to the kitchen hood.

Step 2 - Remove Old Hood

After you know for a fact that it is not receiving an electrical current, you can begin the process of removing the older kitchen hood. You should first take off the electrical wiring cover that is located by the light fixture. Then have your family member or friend hold up the old kitchen hood while you remove any screws or bolts from it. Once that is done, you can then freely slide it off.
Step 3 - Check Wiring

Double check that you have at least 12 inches of wiring to connect your kitchen hood to the wall. It should be noted that if you have a kitchen hood without vents, proceed to step 5 next.
Step 4 - Find the Ducts

If your new kitchen hood has vents, you will need to locate the fan or vent duct. Once you have found it, you can open up the vent hole where it will belong.
Step 5 - Wires

Open up the covering for the wiring and put the covering in a safe area for easy reach.
Step 6 - Install the New Kitchen Hood

Have your friend or family member hold up the kitchen hood and mark the areas where the screws or bolts will be. Then have them put down the kitchen hood and screw in the screws half way into the holes. After that, you can slide in the kitchen hood.
Step 7 - Route Wiring

Lightly pull the wiring through the proper holes and connect both black wires from the new kitchen hood to the black wire from the wall with a wire nut. Then connect the two white wires from the hood with the white wire from the wall, again using a wire nut. Next, connect the green wire to the green ground screw. Then place the wire covering back on.
Step 8 - Tighten Screws

Finish tightening the screws in place.
Step 9 - Test

Check to make sure the fan and light work. If it is supposed to vent outside, make sure that the air is leaving the vent with no issues. If something does not work proper, repeat steps 6 and 7 until everything works well. Remember that you will be working with electrical equipment, so follow safety measures issued by the state or the city.

- if you've got any knowledge of takin these type of things apart then here goes. undo the six fixing screws (if it outs of warrenty that is).
what you'll see is a main board and a little pcb boad attached to the back in which the rca's are connected to. remove the screws that hold this in place and with a set of long nosed plyers gentlely close the plastic lugs so you can remove it ( also remove all wires as to remove it compleatly) if you look on this little board you will see 2 black chips that are next to each other. the 1 that stands out the tallest out of the pair CHECK IT FOR DRY JOINT (solder split ) as that 1 normally becomes loose and can move about (re solder it) and replce back. now on the main heat sink unit you have 2 amp chips. remove the screws and clean all heat sink compound. put new compund on and screw back ( these dont need removel if your gentle. replace the cover and see what it does
best of luck

If it is faucet body on sink loose under sink there should be screws and a plate or washers holding it sink. Tighten them up.

Some have a bolt or nut in the middle requiring a socket to tighten.

If the spout is loose remove handle and it has a plastic ring on top to tighten spout up.
